8.9/10. Pretty good. The best movie Jennifer Garner's done ever. It's a mix of Death Wish, The Punisher, and The Brave One. I honestly found it a good watch and relevant to today. After all, for some, there's no justice. What about people who've lost loved ones to illegal alien criminals? Where was justice for them? This movie seems to comment on how the system can be broken for things like that or in other cases like Simpson and Anthony. Garner brings a sense of vulnerability, grief, and cold determination to life. I would say we'll never get another movie like this any time soon, The reason is because Hollywood's filled with cowards who're anti gun as they stay snug and safe in their gated communities. This is a must watch as she does her best tough character since Alias.

Peppermint stars Jennifer Gardner as Riley, a young mother whose life is nearly taken from her along with her husband and daughter when criminals gun them all down during a day at an amusement park on the child's birthday. Fueled by rage at a criminal justice system that let the perpetrators go and at all those involved in the murders, Riley reinvents herself into a lethal vigilante who is willing to go to extremes to seek justice and break the cycle of crime around her in Los Angeles. A mix of Death Wish, The Brave One and Law-Abiding Citizen, Gardner's Riley is a one-woman army that handily decimates every bad guy she can while becoming a folk hero to the downtrodden in this fast-paced revenge action thriller. Fun, if familiar and mostly improbable.

Deliberate mistake: An LAPD cop discharges his firearm a full size Glock which has a minimum magazine capacity of 13+1 for the Glock 21. The Glock 21 is approved LAPD issue along with other variants. He fires maybe three shots and the slide locks back signalling that it's dry. A second later the same cop is walking with the same empty Glock aimed towards the suspect which was shot at. It's visible that the slide is being held back by the slide stop since the magazine went dry. (01:29:58)
