Continuity mistake: After Mitchell gets to his daughter and throws Connor out of the room, they start to talk and he sits on the bed next to her. For the entire conversation, almost every time the camera changes angles their heads and which way they are looking don't match up with the previous shot. (01:18:50)
Continuity mistake: In the back of Lisa's car when Hunter is talking about his daughter being gay and says "I guarantee they don't even kiss", he has his left hand up in the air in the close up. When the angle changes to the wide shut, he's suddenly lowering his right hand. (00:31:20)
Continuity mistake: As Kayla is walking up to hug her parents, Connor reaches over and starts to open up the back door of the limo. When the angle changes, suddenly the door is already open with Connor standing beside Kayla and she's climbing in. (00:20:20)
Continuity mistake: When Julie is showing her mom her prom dress, her mom has a ziplock bag of cookies in her hands with the bag turned sideways and one hand inside it. After she says wow, the angle changes and suddenly her hand is out of the bag and she's holding it upright. (00:13:10)
Continuity mistake: At the lunch table, when Kayla states she's going to have sex with her lab partner that night Sam reacts to it, it cuts to a close up of Kayla and suddenly she has her hand up in the air. (00:08:45)
Continuity mistake: Julie and her boyfriend are kissing in the hallway by the lockers and after he says he loves her, her arm is down with her hand on his arm around the bend of his elbow. They start to kiss again and it changes angles, and suddenly her arm is up with her hand by his neck. (00:07:10)
Continuity mistake: When Michel finds the pink thong in the laundry and thinks it's his wife's, he climbs on her bed chewing on them playfully before she tells him it's his daughter's thong. Between shots when she puts the mechanical pencil on his lips and tells him, the thong is suddenly hanging out of his mouth much further. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: Julie and her mom are eating together towards the beginning after the opening montage, and her mom says that she will miss these days. Julie's hand is up holding her fork in the shut, but when it cuts to the next angle her arm is down and she's digging at her plate. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: Lisa sneaks into the room that Kayla prepared for Julie and sits on the bed where an arrow is made with licorice. In a close up, part of it is moved so the arrow is crooked. But in the next shot after she asks herself what is she doing there, it is straightened out. (01:12:40)
