8.3/10. A well done comic book movie by horror master Wes Craven. His genius is missed. It's still pretty good and one that's faithful to its source material. I would call it one of the better attempts at bring a lesser known comic book character to life alongside the likes of Howard The Duck, Sheena, and Red Sonja. Another must watch if you like comic book movies.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film Cabel gets stabbed in the right side of her d├ęcolletage, and she bleeds all over her evening gown, as you would. Swamp Thing very kindly heals the wound. Apparently he also has the power of magic dry-cleaning too, because the blood disappears from Cabel's dress.
