Continuity mistake: When Dex is walking up to the Copa-Banana, the red carpet stops once it reaches the steps towards the entrance of the Copa-Banana, but in the next shot, the red carpet is now shown continuing onto the steps, finishing at the entrance. (00:17:00)
Continuity mistake: In the Copa-Banana, Charlie the Tuna is walking with a soldier. In one shot, Charlie the Tuna and the soldier are right next to each other, but in the next shot, there is a visible gap between the two. (00:17:45)
Continuity mistake: One character asks Dex to help him or he will go bald. Suddenly it cuts to Mr. Clean for the joke and he's just suddenly there. He was not in the rest of the scene or shots before that moment, and suddenly he's just there after that joke.
Suggested correction: Mr. Clean is seen multiple times throughout the scene before Hairy Hold says he'll go bald. In the establishing shot when it pans over to the group, and Hairy Hold says "Why did I agree to run the United Supermarket Defence Association", Mr. Clean is seen, albeit towards the corner of the shot slightly away from the group. He is seen more in the following shot when Dex arrives in scene. He is seen again when Maximilius starts saying "We all know when a product loses its icon...", and seen again when standing behind Hairy Hold when he says they have to find Dan. In the shots where Mr. Clean cannot be seen on-screen, he is simply just off-screen standing slightly away from the rest of the group.
Continuity mistake: When Maximillius and the frog are talking about Benjamin Franklin outside the Copa-Banana, the frog's shadow is behind him in one shot, but in front of him in the next. (01:12:40)
Continuity mistake: When Lady X begins beating up Dex, Dan says to sugar smack upside her prune head, and a muscular man is seen in the background standing next to Mr. Clean. This man disappears two shots later. (01:19:10)
Continuity mistake: When Dan and Vlad open the duct cover, they fall down and land behind Dex. Dan is standing behind Dex to his left, but in the next shot, Dan is standing directly behind Dex. (00:44:55)
Continuity mistake: At the U.S.D.A meeting, Hairy Hold asks Lady X "what are we going to do?" and is seen looking at Lady X, but in the next shot, he is suddenly looking towards the right. (00:27:20)
Continuity mistake: At the doctor's office, when Dex says it won't be long until the whole store is Brand X, the doctor begins to turn around and still standing, but in the next shot, he is suddenly lying on the floor. (00:39:00)
Continuity mistake: When Dex and Lady X begin talking in the Copa-Banana, Kaptain Krispy is sitting at the bar, but then he disappears a few shots later, then suddenly reappears when Dan arrives. (00:19:50)
Continuity mistake: When Sunshine is talking with Dex, when she suggests a hot air balloon ride and then says "Oh no. You just did that", she finishes saying the line with her hands are on her hips, but in the next shot, her arms are suddenly extended. (00:06:40)
Continuity mistake: At Dex and Sunshine's dinner in the park, when Dex says "Here goes", he begins to reach for his pocket to take the ring out, but in the next shot, the ring is suddenly in his hand, out of his pocket. (00:08:20)
Continuity mistake: When Dex is showing the articles on his cork board to Dan, there is sunlight visible on the cork board. In a closer angle of the cork board, the sunlight is no longer there. The sunlight is suddenly visible on the cork board again in the next shot. (00:13:00)
Continuity mistake: After Cheasel puts down Polar, he is talking with Dex. He is extending his neck so it's below his neck line, but in the next shot, his neck is suddenly extended far more upwards, above the neck line. (00:15:55)
Continuity mistake: When Dex is walking down the red carpet at the Copa-Banana, he is being interviewed by a news reporter and begins to turn around a corner in the carpet. In the next shot, he is suddenly walking down a straight line, then reaches the corner a second time. (00:16:45)
Continuity mistake: As the crowd of people in the park begin to leave, in the wide angle shot, watch the background behind Dex. There is a large quantity of red flowers, a building to the left of shot in the far background and a forest further back than the flowers and the building. The shot cuts to Dex saying "The real secret is that I am scared out of my mind Dan" and the entire background changes. There are now trees that have suddenly appeared behind Dex in the background, the red flowers are now way further back than in the previous shot and a building has suddenly appeared on the right hand side of the shot, while the building to the left of shot shown in the previous angle has moved to another part of the park, as shown when Dan tells him he can do it with him to help him. Continuity mistake: When Dex asks Dan if Sunshine will like the four carrot ring, his shadow is seen behind him, but when he says everything has got to be perfect, his shadow has changed position. (00:04:55)
Continuity mistake: When Dex confronts the Fat Cat Burglar, in the wide angle where he says "one last chance", the henchman in yellow behind him is standing on a white coloured section of the hot air balloon. In the next shot, the henchman is now suddenly standing between a purple section and white section of the hot air balloon. (00:02:55)
Continuity mistake: When Hairy Hold runs away from the Brand X balcony, Lady X tells the general to let him go, whilst placing her arm across him. In the next shot, Lady X's arm is by her side. (01:05:15)
Continuity mistake: When Dex and Dan are flying on the bottle through the town inside the ice-cream products, Dex tells Polar he needs to warn the other Ikes that Brand X is behind the rub-outs. In the shot where Dex says "Bring as many Ikes as you can to the Banana tonight", the area that Polar is standing on appears to be in the sunlight. The shot cuts to a closer shot of Polar, where the area he is standing in appears to be much more shadowed. (00:41:30)
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Clipboard tells Mr. Leonard he wants to test the Brand X elixir, Mr. Leonard says "Brand X, huh", beginning to put his hands on his side, but in the next shot, his hands are suddenly off his side, slightly raised and clasped together. (00:10:50)
