In the Heart of the Sea is an Action/Drama movie about the harrowing adventures of Essex Captain George Pollard and his first officer Owen Chase, who find themselves pursued by a feral "white whale" while during a hunt and deal with endless and oftentimes deadly calamity. It actually has some good acting, historical nautical drama, and a degree of old-fashioned charm that's appreciated.
