Factual error: I don't know of any court system in the U.S. that will allow a person, teenager or not, to get into shootouts, steal a car, and maliciously run over/kill someone while fleeing a crime, and all they get is time in a juvenile detention center because they're underage. Whether you're a teen or not, if you commit crimes like that, you get tried as an adult, no exceptions, which means prison.

Bad Boys (1983)
1 factual error - chronological order
Directed by: Rick Rosenthal
Starring: Sean Penn, Reni Santoni, Eric Gurry, Jim Moody
Continuity mistake: Mick buys 3 cans of cola from the machine. But when he's in his room and empties his pockets, there are 4 cans. (00:48:20 - 00:49:15)
Suggested correction: I just watched the scene and he takes 3 cans out of his pocket and drops them on the bed. Now when he loads them in the pillow, it may be possible a 4th was added in the scene, but the shot was a bit dark and fast moving to accurately count them.
Horowitz: That's Lofgren. They call him Viking. I call him shit for brains.
Viking Lofgren: Shut your fucking mouth, Horowitz.
Trivia: According to the audio commentary on the DVD, actress Jamie Lee Curtis makes a very quick cameo at the beginning of the film. However, her name is not listed in the credits.
Question: When the radio Viking holds explodes, what besides the loud noise and some smoke injured Viking the way it did? He had blood on his face after a few seconds and was yelling while lying down. What exactly was the background to this explosion and how did this severely injure Viking?
Answer: Horowitz rigged the boom box to short out electrically and explode. Viking likely was cut up by chunks of shrapnel coming off the front. The effects aren't great.
