Question: SPOILERS: How on earth did Harge find out where Carol was on her trip in order for him to set a private detective on her trail that fast? She didn't tell him where she was going, and Abby certainly didn't. And not eight hours after Carol and Therese make love, Harge has sent a telegram to Carol in her motel room about it. How exactly was the detective *that* efficient?

Factual error: There seem to be modern "Walk" and "Don't Walk" signs at each intersection. This film is supposed to take place in 1952. Also it is mentioned there are "Stereophonic" consoles in the motel rooms. Probably would not find those until at best the late 50s.

Carol Aird: Wherever my car will take me. West. Soon. - And, I thought, perhaps, you might want to come with me. - Would you?
Therese Belivet: Yes. Yes, I would.
