Corrected entry: In the scene just before they reveal the statue of Rocky and they are in the Balboa house, Paulie says to Adrian, "Oh, Mrs. Talia, you almost look pretty good". That's actress Talia Shire's real first name.

Other mistake: At the beginning of the scene when Rocky's statue is unveiled and Clubber Lang challenges Rocky to a fight, the camera zooms out of one of the drums that is being played and it is easy to spot that Mr. T's signature is scrawled right across the centre of the drum.
Apollo Creed: Now, when you beat me, you beat me by one... ONE... second. Now do you know what something like that does to a man of my intelligence?
Rocky Balboa: I thought you said you got over it.
Apollo Creed: I lied.
Trivia: Mr. T was chosen for this role by Stallone himself - he spotted Mr. T in a "world's toughest bouncer" contest (which Mr. T won). What sold Stallone was Mr. T's snazzy dressing, no-nonsense attitude and spectacular lingo. Apparently, the line that solidified him on the idea of hiring T was Mr. T's answer to the question "how do you handle potential troublemakers?". Mr. T had his head shaved bald at the time, and his answer was "I tell dem fools that mah patience is as long as the hair on mah head." He was hired almost instantly. The role in Rocky III got him the spot in the A-Team, and the rest is history...
Question: Right at the end of the movie Rocky and Apollo have their behind closed doors deciding fight. They are supposedly alone. How did they tie their own gloves on? You try tying a boxing glove on with one free hand.
Answer: Nobody says no-one was at the dressing lockers to help them out.
Correction: Paulie says, "Mrs Stallion", as in Rocky's nickname 'The Italian Stallion' (timecode 00:24:10).
Paulie does say 'miss Talia' in Rocky III. My hearing isn't that bad.
I can hear the "-yen" sound at the end when he says he name, suggesting he does in fact say "stallion." There's also a slight 's sound at the beginning.
