Corrected entry: On the way to the meeting to find out the job, Roth, Keitel, Buscemi and Penn are discussing a female cop on a TV show. Penn finishes the conversation with, "I'd have to agree with Pink on that one." The very next scene when they know the details of the job is when they are given their colour code names.
Corrected entry: At the end of the movie when Joe, Nice Eddie and Mr. White have their guns drawn, Joe is pointing at Mr. Orange; Mr. White is pointing at Joe; and nice Eddie is pointing at Mr. White. They all shoot and they all go down, but no one is pointing a gun at Nice Eddie but he still goes down. Director Quentin Tarantino in a Bravo Channel interview was aware of the goof, but left it in.
Correction: Watch in slo-mo, and you'll see it makes perfect sense. Joe shoots Mr. Orange, and Mr. White shoots Joe a few frames later. Eddie then shoots Mr. White - as Mr. White falls he manages to turn his gun slightly and actually gets off TWO shots as Eddie, killing him too.
OP is correct. Chris Penn once explained that his blood squib went off earlier than planned, forcing him to fall to the floor before time. Penn said that Keitel was supposed to shoot Tierney and then him, but the squib on Keitel went right off after shooting Tierney, so he went down before he shot Penn, whose squib went off anyway, so he had to fall too. It was bad timing but Tarantino decided to keep the scene in.
Question: If Mr. Orange had not been killed would have he had to face charges for shooting the woman in the car, despite being a cop on an infiltration job?
Chosen answer: There would definitely have been an investigation. But it was also self defence and /or a reflex action of being shot himself. Also he could claim that Mr. White shot her.
Forensics would prove him wrong if he attempted to implicate Mr. White for the shooting.
Answer: As an undercover cop, Mr. Orange shouldn't have even participated in trying to take the car with White, as undercover policemen are never allowed to commit criminal acts unless they are forced to under extenuating circumstances. In the real world, Orange would probably have revealed his true self to Mr. White and arrested him at that point if he chose to stick around.
Corrected entry: When Mr. White, and Mr. Pink are together in the bathroom Mr. White tries to light his cigarette, doesn't get it lit, but he still pretends to smoke it anyway.
Correction: Mr. White is trying to light his cigarette, out of his frustration for the moment he fails and decides to quit trying. He's never shown "pretending" to smoke his cigarette. Moreover, before washing his face, Mr White can be seen putting the cigarette back in the pack.
Nah, he holds the lit lighter up to the end of the cigarette for about 2 seconds and then extinguishes it himself. He intentionally didn't light it.
Other mistake: When Mr. Blonde is torturing the cop he is listening to the radio (Stuck In the Middle With You). However, when Mr. Orange shoots and kills Mr. Blonde the radio mysteriously shuts off.
Suggested correction: The radio doesn't shut off, it is just difficult to hear over the shouting in the scene.
No. The music turns off. Soon as Mr. Blonde is executed, there is no shouting. It is almost deathly quiet as we watch Mr. Orange still holding the gun, and Mr. Blonde fall to the floor. This mistake is a valid entry.
Question: The scene when the three guys are all aiming guns at each other and then fire... Who shoots the "son," the guy in blue jacket?
Answer: The truth is Mr White's squib went off too soon and he fell so the answer is nobody shot nice guy Eddie.
The squib may of gone off too soon sure, but I mean Mr Pink crawls out from underneath the ramp with a gun in his hand. It's hard to tell the angle but I think it could be assumed that Mr. Pink shot Nice Guy Eddie. It would help to separate himself from anyone who could potentially tie him to the whole ordeal and he could walk away with the diamonds.
Question: In the scene where Mr. Orange, Mr. Pink, Mr. White and Nice Guy Eddie are driving to the meeting, Nice Guy Eddie calls Steve Buscemi "Mr. Pink." How did Nice Guy Eddie know that his name was going to be Mr. Pink before they went to the meeting?
Chosen answer: Joe is his father. They probably planned the crime together.
Yes, but why didn't Mr. Pink respond to that? At that time, Mr. Pink didn't know that his name was going to be Mr. Pink. If someone suddenly and unexpectedly gives you a name like that, wouldn't you be surprised?
He could have already been told that it was going to go like that so that he wouldn't tell Mr. White or Mr. Orange his name, and then once it was brought up at the meeting, he asked why he had to be that color.
Answer: Or, Why was he shocked to find out he is Mr. Pink later on if he was cool with it in the car?
Sounds like it was just a blooper/mistake.

Correction: The briefing when they learn their aliases occurs before this in real time (but is shown afterwards in the film) so Penn would have known that Buscemi was called Mr Pink.
I disagree. While there are some parts of the movie that are shot in a non-linear format, I don't believe this is one of them. It's relatively clear that Orange is being picked up from his apartment by the rest of the crew, and they are headed to the meeting where everyone gets their names.
