Continuity mistake: Numerous times throughout the movie (within and between scenes), the length of Amber's bangs varies - from above, to touching, and into her eyebrows. The length even changed, at times, from the beginning to end of a short telephone call.
Factual error: When Sharyn woke up after surgery, she did not know how long she had been there, but her abdominal scar was practically healed. Under these circumstances, she should have had a urinary catheter but did not. Also, when Sharyn lifted her gown to look at the scar, she was wearing bikini-like lace-trimmed navy blue underwear - it is unlikely anyone would have put such underwear on her after surgery. Other mistake: Blood gushed out of the bound man's lower inner arms that were slit with a knife from below the elbow to the wrist (then turned toward the ground). A switch to an aerial view showed no additional blood dripping (while he was still alive). Also, blood would not pour out of his arms to the ground in a horizontal stream like it did. Revealing mistake: The blemish/mole that was on the right side of Ghost's nose showed up on her left side (and she was not looking into a mirror). (00:57:40)
Factual error: When pit bull Shadow was chasing Phoenix, the distances between them varied - even appearing to increase - but the pit bull should have been able to quickly close the gap and catch Phoenix. In general, an adult person (about 7 mph) cannot outrun a pit bull (25-30 mph). Also, unless Shadow was trained to stop pursuing Phoenix if she got over the fence, pit bulls are actually quite good at climbing fences. (00:02:38)
Continuity mistake: The dead rabbit was thrown onto its left side with its back almost parallel to the table's edge (width) and its nose/head almost in the corner. There was a bowl of several brown eggs several inches away from the rabbit's stomach. When the camera shifts, the rabbit's head has shifted at an angle away from the corner, its rear feet are slightly hanging over the table's edge (length), the bowl of eggs is touching the rabbit's stomach, and the eggs are piled on the opposite side of the bowl. Factual error: Teenagers Claire and Fiona would have been carded and not permitted to enter the "Saints and Sinners" bar because they were under age 21, but they were able to sit at a table and get served alcohol. (00:51:37)
Continuity mistake: Although the amount of alcohol remaining in the bottle had been slightly reduced, the reduction was too negligible to have filled the Game Master's glass to the level shown after his telephone call to Sienna. (00:06:57 - 00:08:46)
Visible crew/equipment: When the group realise they have triggered the alarm system, one of them says "Shhh listen" and the boom microphone appears briefly above his head. (00:45:26)
Continuity mistake: Before Jen gets on the yacht, Aileen's green halter strap can be seen because the left side of her hair is on or over her shoulder. When Jen gets on board, Aileen's hair is in front, covering up the green strap. The camera shifts when Lewis is hugging Jen and Aileen's green strap is visible again with the left side of her hair behind her. There is no noticeable wind and Eileen is standing in the same place. Continuity mistake: When Sami was having car problems, her bangs were mostly messy and longer, but suddenly neatly combed straight down a few times, such as after she slammed the hood shut, saw a shadow, and quickly turned around. (00:30:10)
Revealing mistake: At first glance, the cow at the start may have looked real, but its limited mouth movement while eating grass (without any grass being pulled out) indicates it was a mechanical cow. The cow also did not move its rear end or raise its head when Fenn and Geary approached and stood right behind it. A real cow would not stay in the exact same position (motionless) that amount of time. The cow's "fur" also did not look real. (00:02:50 - 00:03:24)
Revealing mistake: The possessed "Helen" that Fr Daniel threw to the ground by grabbing the back of her hair landed like a stuffed doll, not person. The "body" was mostly padding and the fake "Helen" kind of bounced or teetered after hitting the ground. Also, her arms stayed hidden in front of her whereas a real person would be stretching out or moving arms to try to land as safely as possible. (00:21:35)
Revealing mistake: When Grandpa Paul Rivers (probably a substitute of some kind) was falling (pushed) down the stairs, his body was "floating" and not actually making contact with the steps. (01:33:30)
Factual error: Charlie gives Kaz a flare gun to shoot a shark in the mouth underwater. She manages to fire it underwater and the flare travels several meters. It is impossible for a flare gun to activate underwater. And if the flare was fired into the water it will only travel one or two feet. (01:13:00 - 01:18:00)
Other mistake: At the Night Driver gallery showing, Haley is reading from a program that describes Anthony's "Say My Name" piece. The text states that Helen Lyle died from "self-emulation" instead of "self-immolation", immolation meaning death by fire.
Factual error: The initial police scene takes pace 20 years ago. The present year is 2021, so 20 years prior would've made it 2001. The police Chevrolet Tahoe at the opening scene of the film was only made from 2007 and up. (00:05:40)
Continuity mistake: When the terrorists take over the plane we see Eightball brutally stab a secret agent to death, and he gets blood on his face and clothing. In many scenes after this the position and amount of blood can be seen changing.
