Other mistake: The van used by Cecilia to chase Tom should be damaged because of the crash, but it was not.
Other mistake: When Gary is about to test the trap check the bus door on the right: there's a reflection of what seems to be his shirt, but it's a long sleeved wrinkled shirt, not the short sleeved he's wearing. What's even more bizarre: when Gary moves around, the reflection stays completely still and, drumroll, a shot later, from the very same angle, the reflection disappears. Either it was a crew member hiding, or a CGI-made reflection placed to hide some unwanted crew or equipment reflection.
Other mistake: The Kepler's energy core is a huge nuclear reactor. It can easily obliterate the whole station so its accessibility should be protected by all kinds of fail-safe systems and high level security protocols, yet, Norah - a simple mechanic - can fire it up and overcharge it without any password, keycard, identification method or such, only by pressing a few buttons, then 'space' (not even 'enter'). There is not even a confirmation process before switching the reactor to terminal overload.
Other mistake: In the credits of the movie, the creator of the original comic's name is misspelled as "Bob Macleod" when it should read "Bob McLeod."
Other mistake: In the climax Melanie throws the bomb from out of the water, but the bomb is not wet. (01:39:55)
Other mistake: The rectangular area of skin cut from the dead deer's rear side was not wide enough (or at the correct angle) to encompass the killer's entire bloody hand print; it would have missed the "pinky" finger (and possibly the tips of the second, third, and fourth fingers). Because the fingers were spread out, a shape more like an inverted isosceles trapezoid (or a much wider rectangle) would have been necessary. (00:42:52 - 00:44:09)
Other mistake: The corn creature is on fire, but only up to its shoulders - the flames do not spread to its head until after it goes into the corn field. (01:24:08)
Other mistake: The entire movie takes place during the overnight dark hours. Limited lighting from the car and flashlight somehow manage to illuminate faces, photos, signs, etc. Filming in the dark surely has its challenges, and there has to be a proper balance between lighting and ability of viewers to see what is happening. The "convenient" lighting would be a "deliberate mistake" except for one factor: A full moon (highly illuminated) is shown without radiating the light expected from a full moon. (00:26:25)
Other mistake: "Sally" the Great White Shark rammed Emma into a rock (or other hard object) underwater and Emma only got a small cut above her right elbow. It isn't clear how fast Sally was swimming, but Emma was rammed with force (and appeared to hit her back). A female Great White Shark weighs about 4,000 or 5,000 pounds, so Emma would be expected to suffer a major (not minor) injury under the circumstances. (00:05:24)
Other mistake: A crow crashed into a bedroom window, causing a small hole in it with radiating cracks. There was blood splattered around the hole as well as two long downward/ vertical lines of blood. Although it is possible for a bird to crack a window, it is much more likely that a bird breaks its neck without causing damage to the window. In the event that this crow did put a small hole in the glass, at least some fragments of feathers should have been stuck around the hole, but there were not any. (00:06:55)
Other mistake: In this film, when they find the picture of Nancy (from the original Craft film), the image is of Nancy in the restroom of the original movie. If you watch the original film, the image that was used of Nancy shown in the new film would have taken place during the scene where Nancy, Bonnie, and Rochelle confront Sarah about wanting out of the coven. But during that scene, no cameras were in sight and nobody was taking pictures.
Other mistake: At the docks, when Min-jung is inside the truck that is surrounded by zombies, there is a moment shown from inside the truck where the helicopter is shown in the background. The helicopter is far off in the distance, but when Min-jung begins to put the machine gun under her chin to shoot herself with, Jung-seok and Min-jung's daughters (who are standing right next to the helicopter) can see exactly what Min-jung is doing inside the truck, even though it should be too far away for her to see what is going on. (01:45:13 - 01:45:39)
Other mistake: Jude would not be able to write that neatly - especially that fast - while holding a floppy notebook in the air. The right half of the notebook was sagging while he wrote three perfectly lined rows ("I told you not to make him mad."). (00:46:03)
Other mistake: When the white mouse runs to save the brown mouse, he runs at normal speed, but the witches move in slo-mo for reasons unknown. (00:47:23)
Other mistake: The woman was impaled by two stakes, one through her chest and one through her right shin. The man pulled her out of the hole from the edge at an angle to her left side. From this position, he could not have initially kept her body parallel to the ground or subsequently pulled her up at an angle without causing additional injuries or death. (00:14:33 - 00:14:55)
