Revealing mistake: The Uber car's instrument panel did not appear to be functional (indicating it was fake). On the driver's side, the numbers in the two large circles were not discernable, but one had to be the speedometer. On the left side, the arrow pointed to maybe 6 MPH, even when the posted speed limit was 60 MPH. The gauge on the right side stayed at the bottom of the left side at zero. (00:09:50 - 00:13:05)

Other mistake: Cami asks Spencer to unlock his trunk, which he does. After Cami takes her suitcase out, she slams the trunk closed. Cami walks about 1.5 miles straight, but ends up back at the car. When Spencer leaves, Cami gets out of the back seat and is able to open the trunk without a key. (00:16:20 - 00:25:31)

Deliberate mistake: The images of Spencer's face in the driver's side mirror are not realistic for someone in the driver's seat. The driver's side mirror is angled outward (perhaps 60° beyond a typical angle), but his face is perfectly reflected. When Spencer starts smoking, the viewer gets a glimpse of a figure behind his car. Spencer senses something and his face is shown backwards in the mirror, as if he were crouching outside a few feet from his car. Spencer does not use the more practical rearview mirror. Other mistake: After Cami finds photos in Spencer's center console, she is able to see them while sitting in the back seat (perhaps from an interior overhead light). When Spencer approaches from behind and taps on her window, the interior of the car is dark and the photos are barely visible. Cami did not even try to hide the photos from Spencer, even though she suspects he was stalking her. (00:23:54)

Other mistake: The entire movie takes place during the overnight dark hours. Limited lighting from the car and flashlight somehow manage to illuminate faces, photos, signs, etc. Filming in the dark surely has its challenges, and there has to be a proper balance between lighting and ability of viewers to see what is happening. The "convenient" lighting would be a "deliberate mistake" except for one factor: A full moon (highly illuminated) is shown without radiating the light expected from a full moon. (00:26:25)
