Trivia: In the opening credits there's a hidden image of Wolverine's arms with his claws out. To add a meta level to it, there's an image of an actual Easter egg in place of Wolverine's head.

Trivia: Nixon's actual voice was used from White House tapes for the scenes where he is on the phone in the Oval Office.

Trivia: Kevin Spacey originally starred in the film. However, after sexual harassment allegations were leveled against him, most of his scenes were re-filmed with Christopher Plummer, costing the production almost $10 million. Spacey reportedly only appears in the finished film in one scene, and even then, only in wide-shots where his face can not be made out.

Trivia: In the movie, Sandy shows up at the premiere. In real life, Sandy did not come to the premiere as Tommy had not invited him due to incidents on set with Tommy's behaviour. Actor Kyle Vogt also did not come for similar reasons.
