Other mistake: When Otto Preminger calls Trumbo from his car to announce that Trumbo's real name would be credited for Exodus, Preminger tells him to look at the front page of the New York Times. The problem is that Trumbo has already picked up the paper from his counter and is reading before Preminger even tells him which newspaper features the article.
Factual error: There are several scenes in a field of barley. Tramlines are seen. Tramlines in crops were invented in 1975 to allow tractors and sprayers to drive up and down fields. Sunset Song is set around 1914, 61 years before tramlines were invented.
Factual error: At the beginning of the movie when Danny Glover is sitting at the chessboard, the pieces are lined up wrong on both sides of the board. If Danny has the white pieces, the king should be on his right. The black king should be on the opponent's left.
Factual error: In the fighting scene in U-Bahnhof Alexanderplatz the underground trains move much faster than in real world. Alexanderplatz is a railhead station. The trains would either crash into a wall or would not have enough room to accelerate that fast.
Continuity mistake: The handful of yams (pureed) that Glory throws onto the left side of her bowl is spread out, relatively flat, and spans close to the bowl's rim. Suddenly, the yams are piled higher and further away from the bowl. The yams on both sides appear to vary, but other views are too short to be confirmed (without pausing). (00:48:11)
Factual error: Summer and Carmen are at the saloon and catch on the local news the report of the kidnapping. The scene is set in Tuscany, Italy, but the news anchor is Spanish actress Paz Vega, speaking with an obvious accent and mispronouncing words. To make the whole situation even more absurd, she is supposed to portray a native Italian speaker, "Giulia Carni": the last name is Italian sounding but nonexistent in reality, and the headline used for the news report, "Nonna-napper", "kidnapper of grandmother" has such an awkward and unnatural sound and feel in Italian and for an Italian audience, that nobody ever would use it. Continuity mistake: When the boys are about to enter the woods and they arrive on their bikes, the younger boy can be seen first on his bike, then standing next to his bike in the next shot, then on his bike, then he's off it again where he lets it fall onto its side.
Continuity mistake: Charlie's mock trial: the latina maid walks up the stairs, with Sebastian saying "OhmahGod, thank you." In the foreground, London is holding her goblet with her right hand, but in the next shot she has it in her left. (00:05:15)

Factual error: The movie is set in the late 90s but in the parking lot scenes, the pair are surrounded by cars as new as 2012.

Continuity mistake: During the saloon heist, Luke Wilson comes in to distracts Harvey Keitel. Danny pulls out a roll of banknotes to buy "some real scotch from Scotchland"; one of the girls poured a drink to Smiley and put the bottle down, but the bottle in a following shot is in a different position. Continuity mistake: When Henry meets Maggie, in official capacity this time, the conversation has continuity errors in the hand position of Brooke Burns. She points the finger at him, lowers the hand as he says "I know you!", but the hand is back up and pointing in the next shot. Factual error: Although this 2015 Norwegian disaster film is far superior to the many American disaster movies that it emulates, "The Wave" still suffers the most common error found in tsunami-themed disaster flicks: Crystal-clear flood waters. Of course, tsunami flood waters in particular are always inky-black with churning sediment and debris.
Continuity mistake: When Nicolas Cage is standing on a roof top patio with the oil industry financier, an orange disappears. The oil guy is peeling an orange as he talks to NC and then when Cage leaves the scene the orange is gone without it ever being eaten or discarded. (01:00:00 - 01:05:00)
Factual error: Ann plays an organ in a church with no electricity. And no, there was no manual bellows to make it work; the movie makers simply didn't know the difference between the operation of an organ versus that of a piano.
Factual error: Evita Peron died in 1952. In this movie, the doctor finishes embalming her during the Coup d'état that deposes her husband...in 1955.
Factual error: The search that cracks the case is nonsense from a simple logical standpoint. There are three people, whose deaths have never been related together, but that all died because of tetryzoline poisoning. Entering all three of those names in google would not produce relevant results or even narrow the spectrum, because it's three unrelated deaths. (01:08:40)
