Factual error: Loosely based on the novel by Jules Verne, the entire story takes place on a remote Pacific island in the early 1860s. Continuity mistake: During the chase after John witnesses a woman get kidnapped, one of the thugs shoots out of the driver's side headlight of his blue van. A couple of shots later, the headlight is back in and it's there for the rest of the chase.
Continuity mistake: Major Kang Min-gil in the opening meeting stands up and mentions the meeting when both North and South Korea agreed to build a nuke. The female scientist in the wide shot is leaning with her chin on the back of her hand in the wide angle, but at the mid-sentence cut she has the palm of her hand along her cheek. (00:04:35)
