Continuity mistake: When Amber and the man she is with are playing charades, there is a wine bottle on the wall of the cabin. It is visible in every shot of Amber but it disappears in the shots of the man.
Continuity mistake: Pa Grape has gold rings on his moustache. When Jonah and the three pirates have just entered Nineveh and are talking amongst themselves, from shot to shot his rings change from gold to black and back again.
Continuity mistake: When Candy and Darlene are sitting at the makeup mirror in the hotel visiting, the strap on Darlene's left shoulder disappears and reappears several times.
Continuity mistake: When Joe is chasing Sara near the start, through a revolving door there's a man walking down the corridor from one angle who's not visible from the other side.
Continuity mistake: The train used for the majority of the movie is a standard QR passenger train. However when it hits the limo it has suddenly turned into a freight train, even though its supposed to be the same train.
Continuity mistake: When Kent drives off the cliff his car starts out as a 1969 Lincoln Continental but when it goes over the cliff it has an extra set of windows.
Continuity mistake: The vehicle used by the person delivering newspapers (an Austin Mini I believe) has, in one scene, an "A" license plate and in the other scenes it has a "B" plate.
Continuity mistake: When Lucy has purchased an orange tree and catches a taxi, its number is different than the one that drops her off at Barry's shop. Could be put down to her catching two different taxi's - however when she leaves the shop and climbs into another taxi, this one has the same number as the very first one she climbed into.
Continuity mistake: The scene where Ana goes to her father to ask for a loan for Estela's factory, each time the camera comes back to Ana, the shadows in the background change.
Continuity mistake: Augustine's hair has a life of its own. It becomes messed up a few shots before she fights with Gaby, then is back to its proper position during the piano shot of her song, then it's back to messy - but in a different way than before - for the standing up part of the song.
Continuity mistake: When the convict comes back to say sorry for killing Earl's dad after the shootout, watch every shot of Tinker in this scene. In one of them, you can see Tinker's back teeth shiny white and clean, while his front teeth are his usual rotten yellow colour. Obviously, the make up artists never applied the fake yellow teeth to the back molars.
Continuity mistake: When the team has their first game against the old guys, the first shot by the lead is wrong. Watch carefully and you will notice that the direction of the rotation of the stones changes about three times from clockwise to counter-clockwise during the same shot.
Continuity mistake: In the scene just following the opening physics exam we see the guys sitting smoking a joint and talking to Philip, the one they are paying to write the test. In one shot Sam hands Philip the joint and Philip says something about them doing better on tests if they stopped smoking pot. The shot changes to Sam speaking and he still has the joint. The shot changes to Philip and he is just handing the joint back to Sam.
Continuity mistake: In the animated sequence, just before the kids destroy Sister Assumpta's office, Skeleton Boy's cast remnants switches from left arm to right arm and back to left arm. The left arm is the correct side as Tim (who is Skeleton Boy) had his cast on his left arm. (01:20:00)
Suggested correction: Your observation is correct, but this isn't necessarily a "continuity" error. The nature of comics or cartoons lends itself to imagination, creativity, humor, etc. Drawing comics is less tedious these days, thanks to computer programs and "cut and paste" techniques; the chances of a cast accidentally placed on the wrong arm are slim to none. Skeleton Man's "drawing" has many inconsistencies - number of ribs, teeth, finger bones, EYEBALLS or dark holes - with comics, it doesn't really matter.
Continuity mistake: In the taxi scene, where the 'club kids' are discussing who's on Gleemonex, the taxi passes Adventureland Superstore twice in about 10 seconds.
Continuity mistake: When Jerry-Lee is at the breeder's home, he starts to eat some flowers. In the first shot he picks up one stem of flowers and pulls them out of the vase. Camera cuts and he starts to pull them out again. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: Charlotte's pillow is visible from the back of her head and towards the right of the screen. But when the camera shifts, her pillow is visible alongside her face and extends past the top of her head. (00:29:13)
Continuity mistake: During the chase in chariots (2 Romans against Astérix), when the palace is attacked, in one shot, we can see there is only one Roman soldier on his chariot instead two. (01:21:55)
Continuity mistake: When Davey, Whitey, and Eleanor are at the skating rink, in one shot Eleanor's green earring is quite small and in her hair, not on her ear. Then in the next shot, the earring is bigger and in the proper place.
Continuity mistake: When Jerry hits the cab its windscreen cracks. The subsequent shots of the cab (when Katie helps him up, and when they drive off) show no sign of a crack. (01:17:35 - 01:18:55)
