The Eiger Sanction picture

Continuity mistake: At the Zurich sanction when Jonathan kicks the killer out of the window, just before he kicks him, look at the window. This window has two panes of glass that open outward, with the latch in the middle, but a view from the outside shows that it's a single window with one pane of glass in it, not big enough for two panes.

Terror of Mechagodzilla picture

Dr Wilson

T Poston
Mitchell picture

Factual error: During the car chase scene with the Mustang, the driver of the Mustang repeatedly shifts his automatic transmission from "drive" to L1. Also, one shot during the chase shows that driver's feet using a clutch to shift his automatic.

Bite the Bullet picture

Continuity mistake: Near the end, Sam Clayton is nearing the finish. The audio leads you to believe that the horse is breathing VERY hard, but when the camera shows the horse, the nostrils are NOT flared as they would be on a horse that has been run to exhaustion (or even down the block). Also, the people filming this scene obviously have no clue about the nature of sweating in horses. They showed "lather" all through the horse's mane. The ONLY places horses will lather while sweating is where something is rubbing, i.e. underneath the saddle, the bridle or breast collar, where the reins rub on the neck or between their back legs.

The Man Who Would Be King picture

Factual error: Bullets thrown (or spat) into a fire do not go off with a bang, and do not fly off and hit anything. The sound of a gunshot is produced by contained gases exploding out of the gun barrel. The casing of a bullet is far too weak to contain the gases, and would split as soon as the powder started to vaporise in the heat of the fire. You'd get a lot of smoke, a lot of fizz and pop, but no gunshot, and no bullets whizzing about.

Suggested correction: What utter cobblers. Bullets are not sealed into the cartridge which is usually made of solid brass. Upon ignition of the propellant the bullet will be ejected in a similar way to a gun barrel - much slower and extremely inaccurately, but that's not relevant here. The bullets would behave exactly as we see them do here, and they would make a loud bang.

French Connection II picture

Continuity mistake: When Doyle arrives at the dock at the beginning of the movie, we see Doyle from behind. A boy with a yellow shirt and a girl with a flower dress pass him on his right side. However, there is a change of shot, and now we see him from the front, and behind him we see the boy and the girl, but instead of being at his right side, they're at his left.
