Deliberate mistake: When Bullitt enters the hotel room to do a Recki, we see photos of the injured man on the wall. From this we can conclude one of two actions. 1: The ambulance crew took so long to arrive, the police had plenty of time to take a variety of photos from many angles. 2: The police did not let the medics in until they had taken their photos of a man who was in need of immediate medical attention. Wouldn't the injured man rather have his wounds seen to first than his photo taken?
Deliberate mistake: When Fagin shakes Oliver's hand (when he first meets him) there is a blonde haired boy standing right behind Oliver, but in the shots from behind him, the boy is gone. This may be because the camera is just behind where the boy was and he had to move so they could get the shots from this angle.
Deliberate mistake: As Rosemary is prepared to be raped by the devil she is lying on white sheets. In the next shot as she is being raped she's on black satin sheets. (00:47:30)
Deliberate mistake: When Dave is in the pod arguing with Hal to let him back in, various patterns of light are projected on Dave's face presumably from the video screens that say NAV and COM and such. Light on such a screen would diffuse and not project like this. It is likely those screens had rear projection and they merely removed the screens for this effect.
Deliberate mistake: Smith and the team come down the mountain and into the village at dusk, yet it is light out during the entire movie.
Deliberate mistake: When Ben is discussing boarding up the windows to Tom, he says he still needs to get a few spots upstairs. Why would he need to board up the upstairs windows when the zombies have no way of reaching them?
Deliberate mistake: Hrundi steps out to the garden and the sprinkler system turns on. Problem is, the grass is a blatantly fake rug with wrinkles everywhere. The sprinklers are therefore useless, and only used for comic purposes.
