Character mistake: On the journey to meet Prince Feisal, Lawrence is offered food by his guide and accepts using his left hand. This would have been considered an insult as Arabs always eat using the right hand. The historical Lawrence would have known better. He had spent many years in the Middle East before the war.
Character mistake: Breaking the news of war to the Sayers, Allnut tells them that the war is involving smaller nations like "Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Spain." Spain was not amongst the participants of WW1. (00:10:00)

Character mistake: Richard Thorp is Henry Maudslay, who got killed on the raid. However, at the end of the film, in the mess, he is patted on the shoulder by Stanley Baker. Big error.
Character mistake: Near the ending of the movie, when Aatami slips with his pickaxe under the plane, they hear a noise inside the plane and ignore the noise by saying it's just an old plane. The DC-3 was actually only 8 years old and still in production by the time setting of the movie, which doesn't make it really that old. (01:13:23)

Character mistake: Despite portraying a highly trained Special Ops marksman, Seagal repeatedly holds his rifle incorrectly, resting the butt on top of his shoulder instead of braced against it, making proper aiming and recoil control impossible. He also switches his weapon between hands when turning corners, a tactic no real special operator would ever use in close-quarters combat.
