Continuity mistake: During the fight in the pool, Lyon's big tattoo on his chest disappears. You can see a very faint blue shadow on his chest from the previous make-up.
Continuity mistake: When Casey is skating on the pond after she leaves Harvard, she falls multiple times. The second time she falls, she lifts her right leg causing her foot to come into frame. On her feet you can clearly see that she's wearing black and green snow boots, even though seconds before that she was wearing white figure skates.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene when Cliff Murdoch's radio fritzes out, Cliff is fiddling with his microphone, but then in the next shot, the microphone is down on the tabletop in front of him. (00:03:10)
Continuity mistake: When Maggie is first shown in her hospital bed, you see her left eye is closed and swollen from the fight. Then, you see her left eye normal, then it goes back to swollen and shut. (01:33:20)
Other mistake: When Jimmy is putting the first newspaper article up on the bulletin board, the article is titled "Owls Win Fifth Straight", but the actual article text talks about the Owls having just played and lost the last game of the season that "not only knocked the Owls from post-season action, but ended a 17 game winning streak." Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the movie during the rematch, a movie camera can be seen filming during several shots of the fight. Continuity mistake: When all three are having dinner for the first time, Vincent's hands' positions are not continuous between shots. Sometimes they swap between crossed or not, or they're holding a glass or not, or the glass swaps hands.
Factual error: The ship transporting the Great Britain team to France has a marine radar antenna, which did not appear on ships in that decade.
Continuity mistake: When Roy breaks his bat in the playoff game, the bat is a long way from the batter's box; the "Wonderboy" fragment is lying further away from the foul line than the rest of the bat, and the fragment "point" faces away from the foul line, the top of the bat on both parts face the line. However, in the close-up, the fragment is facing the other way, with the point facing the foul line. Note, too, that when Hobbs hits the ball, the bat is not split. (02:09:10)

Visible crew/equipment: When Piccolo and Sayers see JC pinning the paper with Sunday's lineup, Piccolo begins to walk away. In the closeups facing Sayers, we can see the outline of the strip of tape holding the lavalier mic that's taped to his chest, under his shirt. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Haley is sitting in the bathtub full of ice, she is wearing a black sports bra. The shot then switches to some of the girls watching a news report from the Worlds competition. It then switches back to Haley, who is now wearing a gray sports bra.
