Continuity mistake: When Stewie is talking to the army recruiter, there is 2 stacks of paper on the desk. When he signs up, one of the stacks has disappeared. (00:07:10)
Continuity mistake: At the start, Chris is sat next to Peter at the table with a visible gap between him and Meg. When Lois stands up, Chris is not closer to Meg as the gap has disappeared. (00:02:20)

Continuity mistake: Chris takes Meg's purse and throws it to Stewie to go through. He throws items on the floor, and when Meg takes her purse back, the items on the floor are not there.
Plot hole: Stewie gets out of the car seat and goes back to bed, leaving the blanket at the bottom of the seat. When they get to New York, Lois goes to get him out and realises he's gone. But when they started the trip the blanket was covering the entire seat to make it look like Stewie was still in it. So who ever "covered" him up knew he wasn't in the seat before they set off. Other mistake: When the cops burst into the house we see the action on a TV as shown by the Quahog News logo in bottom left. However on the TV in the living room the logo is missing. It should be there as well. (00:12:45)
Continuity mistake: Brian breaks his left leg at the race. Next scene the cast is on his right leg.
Stewie, Chris & Brian's Excellent Adventure - S13-E7
Factual error: When Brian and Stewie are trying to get on The Titanic, the fourth funnel is letting out smoke. The Titanic's fourth funnel was not functional. (00:12:05)
Continuity mistake: After Mayor West enjoys eating the taffy, when it cuts to the Griffin family standing on their lawn, the post-mounted mailbox is placed on the right side of the front door's walkway, but then it switches to the left side of the walkway.
Other mistake: When the family gets to the top of the mountain Brian goes left off-screen to pee. Lois says "we proved we aren't second best." Wideshot shows the Fishmans sitting there. They would've all seen them when they got there, yet they are shocked when Ross says "Well look who finally got here." And they are only inches apart.
Continuity mistake: After the LASIK surgery Lois has bandages covering her eyes, and the pairs of crisscrossed tape switch their over-under positions within the same shot.
Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
