Question: While Ricky Tan is talking to Lee on the boat Hu Li comes in. She says something in Chinese and shoots him. What is the translation of what she said?

Answer: She calls him a "Traitor" in chinese.

Question: During the go-cart race, several shoppers are sent flying by the errant carts, one of them an old man who yells "Little rascals" at the kids. He's not listed in the credits but I could swear the old man is Robin Williams in makeup.

Answer: I tried looking this up on the IMDb and couldn't find anything about Robin Williams there. My only suggestion is to watch it again and see if there is a list of extras in the credits somewhere. Maybe that's all the part was, an extra.

Answer: That part was originally supposed to be played by Spanky McFarland, the original little rascal, but died before production began. So an extra was used.

I must ask, do you have a source to back this up? I can't find one and it also seems to contradict what other original cast members said. Some original cast members/children of original cast members stated they were not made to feel welcome on set and couldn't even get hold of the film to take part. They expressed disappointment at not feeling welcome. It would be interesting if they were welcoming to the original Spanky, but not some of the others.

Answer: That was Ryal Haakenson who mostly did background extra roles in the 1990s. This film, he was uncredited for this scene.

Question: Considering Luke's severed hand was replaced by one which looks exactly like a normal hand, why does he wear a glove? Is it explained in the books?

Jon Sandys

Chosen answer: It's explained in the film, although not terribly clearly. Luke's hand takes a direct blast during the fight on Jabba's sailbarge, putting a rather unsightly charred hole in it. As they leave Tatooine, Luke is seen pulling on a glove to cover the hole - he then wears it, I believe, for the remainder of the film. Presumably, with visiting Yoda and all the preparation for the assault on the Death Star, he hasn't had time to go and get it fixed.

Tailkinker

Answer: Additionally, from a story standpoint, when Luke cuts off Vader's hand to reveal it to be completely mechanical, he looks at his own gloved hand and is reminded what lays ahead if he turns to the Dark Side. That shot would not have worked as well if he just stared at what appears to be his normal hand, thus they found a reason to put a glove on it early on.

Question: At the briefing it's pointed out that there's a hospital, school, etc. around the factory they're bombing, and Dennis is very adamant about getting the bombs "right in the pickle barrel" so a lot of innocent people don't get hurt. But the planes are spread out over a large area in the sky, and are also moving when the bombs are dropped, so wouldn't the bombs land over a large area and not just in the limited vicinity of the factory?

Krista

Chosen answer: It would seem that every plane's Norden bombsight would drop from different angles, etc., each designated for a common target. So, 2 planes could be higher, lower, ahead or behind the target and each hit the target, if the bombadiers had an accurate fix on the target.

Answer: Even with the Norden bomb sight, during WW2 bombing was generally very inaccurate.

Copycat - S2-E5

Question: What song is being played when they find the woman in the car, and the paramedics are getting her on to the trolley?

Answer: "One of These Mornings" by Moby.

LuMaria 1

Chosen answer: The song is a re-arrangement of a classic Mexican folk tune 'El Sombrero Blanco' and is not available because it wasn't written by James Horner, who did all the original music for the picture. The folk song is very different from what is heard in the movie.

Answer: You're probably talking about 'Calling All Angels' by Jane Siberry. It's available on her album 'Whe I Was a Boy.'

Question: On the Region 2 DVD, Hypercube, it has the trailer, with a couple of scene's I've never picked up in the film, despite watching itrepeatedly. Also on the back of the DVD is a picture of someone, Max I think, lying down wearing some sort of blue glasses. But the Region 2 DVD has no deleted scenes on it. Where they just cut then never released? Or are there deleted scene available anywhere?

Hamster

Chosen answer: I don't know of the picture you are speaking about, but I do have a DVD that my dad got in Saudi Arabia that has all the features. It has Making Of, Interviews, Commentary, and Deleted Scenes. The deleted scenes are pretty much just extended or slightly different to the ones that are in the movie. There is an extended ending that is considerably longer, but has bad acting (mainly by the black man in charge) and elaborates a bit more on the whole government thing. It mentions "Phase 2 complete" which could mean more phases (hopefully). The others extend the 'Razorcube' scene, the 'two rooms coming together' scene, and the 'figuring out and jumping' scene. The DVD and the box don't mention the Region but it has "For sale or resale in Usa and Canada", so all I know is that it isn't region 4, where I am.

Question: In the scene where old Marty enters his house and pushes a button, a computer voice says, 'lithium mode on'. What does that mean?

Answer: Lithium is used to treat bipolar disease and other mental problems. So 'lithium mode' probably has a calming effect when you're depressed or stressed or whatever.

Answer: "Lithium Mode" is more likely to refer to the house's energy consumption. After all the first lithium-ion battery was invented in 1985 (btw. Based on research by one John B. Goodenough and others). So instead of medicating everybody in the house (lithium is no "mother's little helper") Marty switches energy sources from the, likely costly, public electricity grid to the more economic, perhaps even greener, power stored in lithium-ion batteries.

Chosen answer: Treo 600.

Chosen answer: Eliza is Eliza Hutton. She was Brandon Lee's fiance at the time of his death. They were supposed to be married only weeks after Lee died.

T Poston

Question: Does anyone have any idea what the bit with the security guard at the end was about? Even if Alice could somehow "fire" a virus into someone, there's no way she could have known where in the building the guard was just by looking at the cameras. She might be part computer, but she's not psychic. As far as I can tell, this isn't drawn from any of the games.

Phoenix

Chosen answer: The T-virus was causing her to evolve at a very fast rate. She developed psychic powers and used them on the guard.

Grumpy Scot

Question: What classic song are Joan and her friends listening to when the Russian and Frank Castle are fighting in Castle's room?

Answer: The song is "La donna é mobile" from the opera Rigoletto.

Question: What is going on with George Clooney during the scene on the diving board? Where did all the blood come from? Did he kill himself?

Answer: He was presumably shot by the double agent. Which is why he tells Barry 'It's up to you now.'

Question: The theme at the end of the movie sounds so familiar, but I cant seem to remember where its from. Can anyone refresh me?

Answer: The song is "dancing with myself" by Billy Idol. For the movie, the girl band The Donnas are singing it.

Question: Why is this film going straight to video and DVD in Australia?. If it got poor reviews I would understand. But it got good reviews as did Kurt Russell for his performance. I just don't understand.

Gavin Jackson

Chosen answer: The film's international appeal would be very limited to those who knew the story or knew of the event, and this story is really only known well in the US and not in countries like Australia. On the review section, it's not the distributors main priority. Unless they see potential overseas it's costly to try and promote it in Australian cinemas and is likely to see a better audience in video and DVD than theatres.

Question: Why is Clubber Lang allowed to box professionally, considering that his favorite KO punch seems to be right to the back of the head while the opponent is on their knees?

Answer: Clubber Lang worked his way up the professional ranks. If you notice, the challanger is still able to fight, the referee uses his own discresion to ignore the final punch as the match would have been called in Langs favour anyway.

Question: Throughout the movie, Diana Newman (the angry princess) says nothing else except, "I'm sorry". Why does she say that? And why does she almost stab Arthur's daughter? Does she not know she can only be seen with the special glasses?

Answer: She says I'm sorry because that was her suicide note on the mirror. She almost stabs Kathy because all the ghosts in the house except the fourth are murderous spirits.

The second one (the Torso) may also have been harmless, but it's hard to say.

I think she almost stabs Kathybe cause she's jealous of her natural beauty, as she wasn't a murderer in life, and the only reason she had the knife is because that's how she killed herself.

Question: While the characters mostly spoke Latin or Aramaic, the DVD version mentions that Hebrew was also spoken. In what scenes in the film was Hebrew was spoken, as I could did not distinguish Hebrew from Aramaic?

Onesimos

Chosen answer: The Hebrew was mainly spoken among the Sanhedrin (Jewish high priests) and other Jewish characters including Simon and the Jewish temple guards.

Question: What's the name of the island that Jamie Foxx thinks about when work gets rough?

Answer: The Maldives.
