Goodfellas (1990)

Corrected entry: When Tommy goes to Kill "Stacks" in his apartment (Samuel Jackson), count the shots that are used to kill him. Now compare that number to the amount of shots fired when they replay the scene in slow motion...you will notice they are different.

Correction: This doesn't seem to be a replay of the actual scene. The guy that comes with Tommy is seen in the doorway during the first shot of Tommy killing Stacks, but, in the later scene, he's not there, which implies that it is not a straight replay of the scene. Remember that Henry Hill's character recounts the whole film through narration - this is presumably how he remembered the killing of Stacks, rather than the actual event.

Goodfellas (1990)

Corrected entry: When the henchmen start being killed off, the one who is found in the meat freezer hanging from a meat hook can be seen to be breathing slightly.

Correction: Whilst it looks like he is breathing slightly, the camera isn't completely still; it's the jiggling of the camera that gives the impression he is breathing.

Goodfellas (1990)

Corrected entry: When Karen is sitting on top of Henry in the bed with a gun pointed to his face, the gun keeps changing colors. One second it's silver, the next it's black.

Correction: Looking from Henry's view it does look black and silver from Karen's viewpoint, the shadow seems to make it look black. From the sidepoint the shadow makes the barrel of the gun look black. While this may not be a mistake it certainly looks as if the lights have not been consistent from the different viewpoints.

Goodfellas (1990)

Corrected entry: When Henry Hill calls his home from the hotel room and tells the girl not to make any outside calls for fear of his phone being tapped by the police, wouldn't they be listening to the incoming calls as well?

Correction: In the scene he knows that she is going to make a call to check on her flight or something like that. He knows that because she will need to make a call that the information will tip off the cops. Its not likely he thought someone would call up and give details of any crimes to her or anyone else in the house so I dont think the cops would be able to get anything from incoming calls. In essence he only tells her about making calls because he wants to remind her that the phone is almost certainly bugged by the police.

Titanic (1997)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Jack is trying to convince Rose to get on the boat without him, Cal comes up and wraps his coat around her. In the very next shot, the coat is all the way on, rather than simply wrapped around her shoulders. (02:11:25)

Correction: When Cal puts the coat on, the next shot the coat is still on her shoulders. The next few shots keep going back and forth from Jack to Cal to Rose and while it seems unlikely that she managed to put the coat on fully there was enough time when the camera is not on her she could have put it on.

Road Trip (2000)

Corrected entry: When the guys come across the broken bridge and are talking about it, the car registration plate has mysteriously disappeared. Then, when they land the jump, the plate is there and falls off.

Correction: While it is strange that there isn't any registration plate whilst they are discussing about jumping the bridge, the plate is never seen again when the car crashes into the ground once its jumped over the bridge meaning it must have come off during the crash.

Road Trip (2000)

Corrected entry: After all the commotion in the reception area at Austin, Josh and Tiffany go back into her room. She goes into the bathroom, and Josh crouches down. The package in his hand disappears in one shot and then a second later it is under his right arm. Fast mover?

Correction: In the film Josh has about two seconds before the camera focuses back on him from Tiffany. Its not inconceivable that he could quickly put it under his right arm in just 2 seconds. It's not a split second transition.

Road Trip (2000)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the film, in Tiffany's room, Josh takes the phone from Tiffany. In the first shot, he grasps it at the aerial end, but in the very next shot he is holding it at the other end.

Correction: After Josh grabs the phone, he starts rotating it so at the start of the next shot, it looks like he's grabbed it on an angle.

Road Trip (2000)

Corrected entry: During the stand off near end when the geeky guy's Dad shows up and pulls the gun. After the geek stands up to him he lunges with 2 hands - where's the gun?

Correction: After we see the gun for the last time, the shot focuses on Kyle and then back to the dad where he then lunges. As the camera wasn't focused on the dads hands before he lunged he could have easily put it back in his pants or jacket. Remember when he got the gun he took it out of his pants.

Armageddon (1998)

Corrected entry: Just after the Independence's Armadillo jumps the "Grand Canyon" on the asteroid, the camera pulls across the Armadillo. Bear is sitting alone in the front seat and we can see him grinning and waving to the camera crewmember. Zoom in and pause to gain full benefit from the "mistake."

Correction: Whilst bear is grinning, he is not waving put putting his hand to the window to look out. He is still in the back looking out the window and its likely he is happy like the other characters in this scene.

Spirited Away (2001)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Chihiro and her parents are walking across the rocks toward the abandoned theme park, her father says, "It looks like they were going to put a river here." The rocks are piled up and there is water running through them, indicating that it was a river that was dammed. Error in translation?

Correction: Its hard to consider this a mistake as there is no proof that the rocks were being used to dam up the river. It simply could have been that they never removed the rocks. As the father states he thought it was a abandoned theme park. The other explanation is that when Chiriro sees all the water the current could have moved the rocks there and that would explain all the gunge on the rocks when they walk across the rocks.
