The Simpsons (1989)

Mr. Plow - S4-E9

Corrected entry: When Barney is chasing his diaper, he turns a corner and sees his mother. However, in another episode, he says that his mother lives in Norway, which would mean that he would probably know if his mother was coming.

Correction: When Barney turns the corner he says "Hi Mum". Its presumptious to say he wouldn't know his mother was coming in from Norway or didn't know she was coming. We don't know Barney's schedule or what was going on in his life at this time. All we really know was he was down on his luck in the episode.

Fletch (1985)

Corrected entry: On the DVD bonus material listing Chevy Chases film highlights, it lists the movie 'Fletch 3' as having come out in 1998. This movie was never made.

Correction: This is a mistake with the DVD and not a mistake within the film itself.

Corrected entry: Billy Bob Thornton asks one of his players if he got enough rest the night before. The football player answers, "Yes." Billy Bob says, "That's good, because we have a 6 hour ride ahead of us." They were going from Odessa, TX to the Astrodome in Houston, TX. Odessa is roughly 540 miles from Houston. It takes about 9 to 10 hours to drive there. (01:19:10)

Correction: The schedule of the journey was most likely not over one day. When they leave it's daylight and as we see the cars behind following the bus, then we some of their headlights are on in the middle of the scene. In the next scene when they show the Astrodome (Houston) it is still daylight. Being that it is such a long drive and with the daylight between scenes they likely made an stop over somewhere along the way.

A Bug's Life (1998)

Correction: It didn't need any. Flik designed the system to rotate by moving his legs. As he would move his legs back and forth when using it, it would rotate all the mechanisms (Think of it like a bike. When we pedal, the gears will turn the wheels round).

One Hour Photo (2002)

Corrected entry: When the son brings in his "gift" disposable camera to be developed, he places it on the counter. When he does this, the green "flash ready" light is on. The camera then cuts to Sy, then back to the camera on the counter. The "flash ready" light is no longer on. (00:44:05)

Correction: The flash light on disposable cameras generally switch off after a short amount of time if they are not being used.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: Not a mistake but a joke by the show's makers. Even 25 years, long after the fire should have gone out yet it is still raging and everything including the clouds are exactly the same.

Corrected entry: T-800's metal finger shouldn't be so big when he touches Connor's tears (it's almost as big as his gloves). We can see it's much thinner when he cuts off his skin at Cyberdyne's house.

Correction: The T-800 reveals his metal arm to Dyson but we then see he puts a glove on that hand and his jacket covering the rest of the arm for the remainder of the film. So whether he left the skin off his arm is impossible to tell. Being that his hand fills the glove we can presume he did put the skin back on his arm.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: The man who goes in the river is driving his car and it goes under the water but we never see him drown. As soon as he goes under the water the shot shows Bart. The guy could have simply got out of the river and ran to the treasure site after that. He was in a convertible car and there was enough time from the car sinking to seeing him at the treasure site to have covered that distance.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: There may have been more than one item of this doll and the one he showed Homer was for display purposes. The fact that there was a phone number to call for problems with the doll makes it very possible this wasn't just a one off doll. Even if there hadn't been more than one, he may have packaged it up before Homer left the store.

Bart vs. Australia - S6-E16

Corrected entry: Both the Australian boy's father and Marge say that the call cost $900. However America and Australia have their own dollars and hence different currencies. Because of the exchange rates, surely one of the values would have been different.

OL1V3R666

Correction: At the time they are told about what they owe they are being notified the amount is $900 AUSTRALIAN dollars. Because of exchange rates changing every day, the currency difference will only be made an issue when the amount is actually bought. The Simpsons as well weren't likely going to be able to afford the expensive call so I don't think how much it would be in US dollars was going to be much of a concern.

Correction: The ingredients of the Krabby Patty has stayed the same throughout the entire show.

28 Days Later (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Frank and Jim are on the roof of Frank's apartment all the buckets are empty because it has been so dry (10 days since the last rain according to Frank). This lack of rain is a major reason they choose to head out for the military base. Yet in the next scene, taking place shortly after the roof scene, they drive out of the garage directly onto a very wet street. The chances that it rained and then stopped in the hour or so between the roof scene and driving scene seems pretty slim given the drought situation.

Correction: It is actually possible for rain to be that quick. Living in Brisbane, we sometimes have quick rain pockets where it can rain and make the paths and roads wet in a matter of minutes and then go back to being either overcast or even sunny. In the scene when they are on the roof it is very overcast so there is a goood possibility there may have been a quick downpour before they left.

Correction: The difference is more perception than actually being smaller. There isn't much difference from being outside to being in Squidwards house.

Lummie

Correction: How this is a mistake? Their houses are not right next to the town. Most of them are quite distant from the centre of town.

Deep Space Homer - S5-E15

Corrected entry: Neither Barney nor Homer underwent any sort of physical or medical examination at all. Homer has a heart condition, he has had bypass surgery, and yet he is still allowed to take part in the mission. Also, both of them are surely too overweight to be allowed to participate.

Correction: The whole mission wasn't well thought out to begin. At the end of the day they were looking for a "Blue collared slob" to attract fans, and in that case Barney and Homer were perfect. The fact they were overweight and in average health was not NASA's main concern. Also they do undergo examinations but we probably don't see all of them. One scene we see them doing a lung capacity test.

Lummie

Correction: That's the joke, the bus never should have been there. They comment on all the creepy things happen almost as soon as they talk about it. Like when the lights go on and off when Squidward mentions it.

Lummie

Correction: Spongebob was pretty freaked out when he was drowning so its likely he didn't think about this option. The other problem with trying to absorb water was how tough it was for Spongebob to do it the first time. He couldn't move, he had to dump the water right back into the lake, there was so much water and by accident he sucked Patrick up too. Even if he wanted to try again it may not have been a viable option.

Tommy Boy (1995)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Rob Lowe is on the girl's computer sabotaging the shipments of brake pads, he gets interrupted by the girl and he abruptly shuts off the monitor, not the computer. Later in the movie we find out that the brake pad shipments were all screwed up and no one knows why. Well, the moment that the girl presumably turned the monitor back on, she would have seen just exactly who was responsible.

Correction: That's presuming she noticed the mistake. While Paul's (Rob Lowe) numbers were quite a change from what was being ordered, there were a large number of orders and it was more likely oversight on her part. When Michelle came into the room after Paul messed up the orders, she doesn't see Paul at the computer. Added to that, she had no reason at that point to suspect that Paul was trying to sabotage the company. So, no reason to check the orders.

Dude, Where's My Ranch? - S14-E18

Corrected entry: When Lisa tells Marge about Luke for the first time, Marge says 'I didn't marry the first boy I - Well I did. But you shouldn't." Wrong. Before she had a crush on Homer, she loved Artie Ziff from high school. She didn't marry him, however. Everybody blatantly knows that Marge married Homer, her second crush.

OL1V3R666

Correction: Homer was her first love. She never admitted to loving or having a crush on Artie Ziff. Marge went to the ball with Artie in spite of Homer and what he did to her but she never loved Artie and never admitted to loving him. Also in the statement she makes she never admits to anything. Its presumptious she was going to say the first boy she had a crush on. It could have been the first boy she had a real relationship with.

Road Trip (2000)

Corrected entry: Was it just me or did some of the characters have ESP? First of all how did Sean William Scott know what restaurant the guys were eating at after he stole the bus? The scene ended with him telling his friend to take them to breakfast, and that was it. The second being the Geek's dad knowing that they were going to Austin (fine, they worked that out) but how did he know they were going to that dormitory area let alone the College?

Correction: Just because we only see Sean arrive at the right place doesn't mean he didn't look in a few other restaurants. They were travelling on foot so there wasn't going to be a large number of places to search. He may have even been to a few places and found they weren't there and finally found them or simply managed to pick the right restaurant first up. With the father's finding where they were going, he found they were in Austin by the phone number. Therefore the next logical step would be to either phone the number and ask whoever picked up where they were (the phone number of the girlfriend in College) or trace where the number was located. With how the father figured out where to go, we only see the father walk in when the fight is going on. Like Sean's character we don't see what may have happened before he walked in. So he may have searched the other dorms and then finally found them in that area. It also wouldn't have not been too hard to find them when all the fighting started and people were coming in to see what was going on.
