Trivia: When Dr. Friedman is walking with Jack and the kids to see Harlan, she passes a man and says "not now, Whitley." That man was Whitley Strieber playing himself in an uncredited cameo. The cover of his book, "Communion: A True Story", is also seen. The book is supposedly a true story of Whitley's encounter with aliens.

Trivia: The guard (who gets the poker cup) played by the Stanton twins, is named Lewis. In their previous role, "Gremlins 2: The New Batch", Dan played a scientist named Lewis (with Don playing his twin, Martin).

Trivia: As the credits roll, the London Daily Sentinel shows the date "Saturday, June 1, 2691", but that date falls on a Monday (I listed this as trivia instead of mistake since one could argue it's so far in the future the calendar might change).

Trivia: In this episode, Orlin is a powerful ascended being of energy who becomes human, but then is ascended again and once again becomes a powerful being of energy. This episode also introduces Frank Simmons, played by John de Lancie. Lancie played Q in Star Trek: TNG, a powerful being of energy who becomes human (as punishment) and then once again becomes a powerful being of energy.

Wormhole X-Treme! - S5-E12

Trivia: Near the end when the alien ship is being filmed, Martin says they (Wormhole Extreme) are going to win an Emmy for this, visual effects category. At that point in the series, Stargate SG-1 had been nominated for 5 Emmys (4 in the visual effect category) but never won. The show went on to receive 4 more Emmy nominations in the visual effect category, without ever winning an Emmy.

Trivia: The AAMCO Guy, played by Mike Hagerty, asks Larry David if he gets paid when "Seinfeld" reruns are aired. Mike Hagerty was in an episode of "Seinfeld." He played Rudy, the guy that buys clothes from George and was going to buy the raincoats from Kramer and Morty Seinfeld.
