At the party Joey says to Bianca, 'Come on, we're all congregating around Mr. Guervo.' What does that mean? [Actually it's Mr. Cuervo, as in Jose Cuervo tequila. They are all gathering around the tequila bottle.] Answered by Guy Brigman
Does anyone know where I can find a script for this film, preferably a free one? [Go to http://www.allmoviescripts.com/scripts/5773164523f305abc3f7c1.html.]
In the part where Bianca's friend is asking "I know you can be overwhelmed and underwhelmed, but can you ever be just whelmed?" Bianca answers something like, "I think you can be in Europe" What does she mean? [The answer doesn't mean anything, it's deliberately stupid to show us from her very first scene how much of an airhead Bianca is.]
Why is the movie called "10 Things I Hate About You"? I thought it was in reference to Kat's poem, but she lists at least twelve things. [She only says "I Hate" 10 times. Some of those she says more than one thing that bugs her, but written in list form it appears as 10 things.]
When Michael tells Cameron that Bogie started that rumour at the beginning of the movie, what are Izods? Is it an American thing or something? [They are a clothing brand, long associated with the 'preppie' type and society's upper crust. Until the emergence of Polo in the mid 80's, 'Izod' (and their alligator logo) was virtually synonymous with 'knit golf shirt.' If one aspires to the silly conventions of wearing such labels for their status, one would never buy them from an outlet mall, only an exclusive high-dollar retailer.] Answered by Rooster of Doom
In the first classroom scene, what is it that Joey suggests to Mr Morgan that Kat should take "before she comes to class"? [Her Mydol - pills to help PMS.]
What is the reason Michael tells Cameron his friends abandoned him for at the beginning of the film? [Michael says "Bogie Levenstein started a rumor that I...that I buy my Izods at an outlet mall."]
At the start of the film, when Cameron is in Ms Perky's office she tells him Padua won't be any different from his old school and then points at the window. What does she say at this point? [She says "Same little a*s-wipe sh*t for brains everywhere."]You may also like: 13 Going On 30 | Titanic | Friends | Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets | The 40 Year Old Virgin
