Next shot facing Harry, Ron visibly holds the box with his right hand and the positions of the pillow, cushion, envelope and letter differ on the red chair. As the next shot opens facing Ron, he holds the box in his left hand and his right hand is in the box. Then in the next shot facing Harry again, the bottom card on the back board is gone. (01:27:50)

Continuity mistake: When the car lands in front of the Burrow, it touches the ground just in front of a small shed and passes it within seconds. An angle change then shows the car driving past the same shed. (00:10:40)

Continuity mistake: When Homer is eating the bacon and what looks like scrambled eggs after claiming Marge's oatmeal had a bug on it, the close up of the bacon shows that it is pink/purple and the eggs are yellow but the in the following shot, when Bart says, "Dad, there's a bug on that." the bacon and the eggs switch colours. Continuity mistake: In the chess scene, when Ron falls off the horse, he is lying on his side on the floor with one knee bent so that one foot is higher than the other. When Harry and Hermione run over to check on him, one foot is on top of the other. (02:05:15 - 02:06:00)

Revealing mistake: When Skinner starts to drive the bus, he says "Off we go". During this shot the sky is a brighter colour when you look out of the bus windows than if you just look outside the bus. (00:12:15)
