Revealing mistake: The close ups of Daniel and Jericho on the wagon show a pale blue background but the long shots show them on a heavily wooded trail crowded with large green trees behind them.
Continuity mistake: When Mingo goes to swing The Gun to hit Boone The Gun gets out of his hands and suddenly is back.
Factual error: At the end, Daniel Boone is met by the Marquis de Lafayette, played by an actor in his 60s. When he arrived in the American Colonies to aid the revolution, Lafayette was 19 years old.
Other mistake: Right at the end, Gabe takes Israel's pie, and the plate is empty. Becky reaches for the plate, and there's pie on his plate again.
Continuity mistake: Daniel Boone makes Talbot (the bad guy) cut a hole in the skiff, so they can't follow him down river. When Talbot gets done cutting the hole, he throws the axe into the skiff as he starts to get onto the barge. But then Boone says "now gimme that axe", and Talbot has the axe in his hand. Other mistake: When Daniel starts to fall down the hill when he is sick from the snake bite, there are two pick up trucks parked down on the road, a white one and a blue one. They show up on the right side of the screen.
