Corrected entry: When Terrence walks into the bar Gabriel stops him, looks at the front of his shirt, and calls him Terrence. If you look at the front of Terrence's shirt you can plainly see just his last name not his first.

Correction: Yes, Terrence's uniform shirt has a patch with his surname "Hynes" at the right side of his shirt. Rewatch, and you'll also see Terrence Hynes has a photo ID tag with his name that is clipped to the pocket at the left side of his uniform shirt, under the Forensics patch. That is how Sgt. Gabriel knew his name is Terrence. Note, Terrence's ID tag is also visible later in this episode, as well as following episodes he's in.
