Continuity mistake: In the previous episode when Damon and Caroline sleep together Caroline's bra is dark pink, in this one when she wakes up her bra is blue.
Continuity mistake: When Caroline is talking to Stefan at the party, her eyes are made up very dark. In the next scene, where she talks to Matt and Amy, her eye make-up is a lot lighter.

Continuity mistake: Elena's house address is different. In season 1 episode 1 Elena's house number was 935. In this episode Elena tells the ambulance that her address is 2104 Floyd Street. (00:39:30)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Vicki wakes up from her nightmare her bandage on her neck is on the right, but then in the scene where she's at the Grill it's on the left side.
Continuity mistake: The sign by Mystic Falls cemetery says it was established in 1792, but later episodes state the town was built in the 1860s.
Continuity mistake: Giuseppe Salvatore wasn't buried at the family crypt because it hadn't been built yet. But Lily Salvatore was buried at the crypt despite dying before Giuseppe.
