In the first shot, overhead, you can see that Magnum's coffee table features several magazines, and in the corner, at the same level, a bowl. Continuity mistake: While we hear Higgins in voiceover as the flame is moved closer to his hand, there is a segue to Magnum's voiceover as he reads the typed words of Higgins' memoir, which we see onscreen. Continuity mistake: When Rick and Alexis try to escape in the chopper the baddies stop them, and when two of them leave with Alexis in their car, the rearview mirror repeatedly vanishes and reappears. (00:46:10)
Continuity mistake: When Magnum and Rick find TC's office wrecked, Rick picks up a brochure and holds it out to Magnum in his right hand, with the team ring on his finger, but in the next closeup the ring has vanished. (00:41:50)
Continuity mistake: At the hospital, there's a push button desk phone on the table between Lee's and Magnum's beds. There are two closeups of this telephone when both Lee and Magnum lift the handset, and the entire telephone changes to a multi-line desk phone. Plus, in Lee's handset closeup, his hospital ID bracelet changes from narrow to twice the width, and in Magnum's handset closeup, the large floral box of tissues change to a short box of tissues. Continuity mistake: In the opening shots, the helicopter is the N58243 one with flotation pads, but as soon as it starts malfunctioning, the pads thin up and we switch to the usual chopper. The skids change shape back and forth again once. (00:02:05)
Continuity mistake: The chopper takes off from Higgie's un-birthday party, looking as usual. It flies over a shore to thwart Holly's plan, and doing so it has the flotation skids from a different chopper's stock footage. It is therefore also missing the birthday banner, that is present again in the finale. (00:45:10)
Continuity mistake: Throughout the episode, which covers a timespan of a couple of weeks, the various patrons of the bar/club where the fights take place for the most part are around for every match, which is not out of the ordinary but...wearing the same clothes too, that's more unusual.
Continuity mistake: When Higgins calls "Buster" and "Bobby K", a strong shadow appears on his forehead in the wider angles, nothing of the sort in close-ups. (00:47:35)
