Continuity mistake: The first prisoner is moved up to the Holo Court and has his memories searched for incriminating evidence. Once they find the memory of him refusing to pay the temple, it shows the hand of the 790 Unit operating the machine pressing a button, and next to his hand is a switch that is in the down position. Once the Holo Judge passes sentence on the man, it cuts back to this spot again, but now the switch is in the up position with the 790 reaching out to flip it down, which causes the rail to switch over and put the prisoner on the track to get his organs cut out. Continuity mistake: As the stadium is shown before Thodin's walker is lowered into it, there is a panning shot showcasing the place. Then moments later from another aerial view the stadium's design is very different. Extra lights appear around the center, the layers of spectator sections doubles, and the general design of the center area changes a lot. (00:31:20 - 00:32:40)

Continuity mistake: Thodin is brought and set down in Cobalt Stadium to have his public trial and execution, and is set down inside his bug-like walker. As it opens up, it reveals his arms are strapped to the insides and it opening forces him to spread his arms wide, with the walker opening very wide leaving him in a near sitting down T pose. He then looks around a moment at the Holo Prosecutor and the the camera cuts back to him. Suddenly the walker isn't opened nearly as wide, leaving his arms closer together. (00:31:50)

Continuity mistake: When the Bug Bomb is crawling out of Thodin's nose, it's design and body shape is noticeably different than when seen in closes ups later while on electrical components searching for a signal, especially the head. Also going by scaling of the floor when Stanley swats it to the ground as well as when it's visible flying around Stanley's head, the size of it is bigger after it leaves Thodin's nose and would not have fit. (00:32:20 - 00:35:10)

Continuity mistake: In the stadium as the trainer is throwing a brain to the Cluster Lizards, it shows the backs of some of the audience who are standing up, with one person holding up a toy spear or something of some kind. Then when the trainer throws his arms up to get the crowd riled up, it cuts to a frontal view of these same people in the audience who are sitting, and then stand up to cheer, with the person holding the toy only then raising it up. Continuity mistake: When Stanley is running down the hall and he and the Bug Bomb accidentally cross paths, he swats it out of the air. It hits the ground damaged with one leg breaking off and it lying on its side. A minute later when it boots back up and starts to get up, it's in a different position, with its other legs up in the air now and the broken one changing. Continuity mistake: When Thodin shouts to the crowds saying they are all slaves, the badge on his jacket is on the right side with the visible green screen on the right, with the badge being on the that same side later. This indicates that the previous time we see him in the same looking shot with the badge and visible green screen on the other side was a flipped shot. (00:33:55 - 00:37:25)

Continuity mistake: After the Bug Bomb lands on the cable the first time, it's sitting parallel to the cable as it folds its wings back. It cuts to a different view closer up and suddenly it's partly hanging off the side of the cable. Also the scanner it has instantly appears under its head between shots. (00:35:10)

Super Nova - S1-E2

Revealing mistake: When Stan, Xev and Kai are walking to the Memory Chamber, they seem to walk out of a two dimensional line at the lower left into the scene. The set and green screen weren't quite synched.

Question: Why do the robot heads get attached to human bodies?? Doesn't make sense when you consider how much more advanced they could make robot bodies for such. Also, why not put human brains in robot bodies? We know they have that ability.

dizzyd

Answer: From what I'm seeing, the answer seems simple. The robotic heads allow the control of the body they need. However, no mater how advanced you make a robot's body, it will never quite be as flexible and versatile in it's movements and actions as a flesh and blood human body can be in most cases. And if they do put the effort into creating a robotic body with the capabilities they need, and be durable enough to last... it would cost a lot of money. The Cluster has a large influx of constant prisoners that they use for feeding the Lexx and other needs, so human bodies are easy to come by and in vast quantities. Them simply producing robotic heads with the ability to interface with the human nervous system and placing them on the decapitated bodies of expendable prisoners is a hell of a lot more cost effective and easier to do with the technology they have. It's just a cheaper, more effective option for them to have thousands fo 790 Units in production and use without the cost of manufacturing a fully functional and durable robotic body for them.
