Continuity mistake: Episode 16, season 4, "The Day They Raided the Knights." In Max's apartment, Max sneaks up behind 99 to give her a kiss. She punches him in the jaw and he falls back against the wall to the right of the doorknob. The scene changes to a close up of Max and he is sitting on the floor to the left of the doorknob.

Continuity mistake: Season 2, Episode 6 "Casablanca" : When the chief stops Maxwell from beating the cab driver, he holds back Maxwell's arm by the very prominent cuff. After the following cut he holds it by the sleeve (and no sign of the cuff).

Continuity mistake: In episode 17 of season 4, "Tequila Mockingbird," Max is going to pour tequila in Valdez's glass. The camera closes up to show Max picking up a bottle with a candle on it. The candle falls into the glass. When the camera angle changes to show Valdez and Max, the candle is gone.

When Max is phoning the Chief to let him know the mission's been accomplished, he takes the oars out of the oarlocks before opening his shoephone. The oars change from being out of the oarlocks in the closeups to still being in the water in the long shots for the rest of the episode.

After Max sinks 3 balls with one shot, The Shark says "I haven't seen anyone make that shot since the great Three-Fingers Yarmy." Don Adams' birth name was Don Yarmy. (He took his wife's last name for show business).
