Continuity mistake: When John and Jason remove the rolltop desk from the pickup, in the exterior shot Jason carries the left side and John carries the right side, but as they walk through the doorway it cuts to an interior shot and with the desk still in the air the two men have suddenly switched sides. The Waltons (1972)
1 continuity mistake in The Move
Starring: Eric Scott, Jon Walmsley, Judy Norton, Mary Beth McDonough
Visible crew/equipment: At the mill, when John tells Buck that Willie Brimmer might be at the Montgomery cabin with Jim-Bob, in the next closeup of John we see a billowy trail of cigarette smoke at the bottom right corner of the screen, but the only people standing there are Elizabeth, John, and Buck, and none are smoking. Presumably, it was someone offscreen smoking too close to the camera (similar to a mistake in 1978's "Halloween"). (00:26:05)
John Walton: I hate this draft job, Liv. I can't stand playing God to my neighbors' sons.
Trivia: While John is reading the newspaper funnies to John Curtis, we hear Erin and Mary Ellen come home, so John puts the folded newspaper down on the couch. And as the newspaper lies on the couch, we can see the large white adhesive label with typewritten sentences adhered to the center of the funnies page. Presumably, these are the actor's lines as he was reading quite animatedly to the toddler (sweet moment). (00:06:25)
