Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Lessons - S7-E1

Plot hole: The First (as Drusilla) touches and moves Spike's hair, However it is made very clear later in the season that The First is not corporeal, which means it is unable to physically touch anything.

Bring On The Night - S7-E10

Plot hole: When Andrew wakes up, Anya mentions the First posing as Warren to make him kill Jonathan. Jonathan's body hasn't been found and the only time Andrew became ready to talk, he was knocked unconscious. They shouldn't have a clue about Jonathan's murder.

Get It Done - S7-E15

Plot hole: When Dawn and Buffy discover Chloe hanging in the bathroom, Dawn gives a little gasp but nothing more. But, seconds later, some Potentials run from across the hall saying "What is it? We heard -" before they see Chloe. While it suits the next scene to have them there, there wouldn't have been any sounds loud enough for them to have heard from across the hall through a closed door.

Shay

Halloween - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: Willow is turned into a ghost. Throughout the entire episode, she can't touch anything (can't turn the pages of a book, etc.), yet towards the end when she and Giles go to Ethan's shop, and she leaves, you can hear that she opened and closed the door, even though she can walk through walls and can't actually touch the door. The curtain moves when she leaves too. (00:34:05)

School Hard - S2-E3

Vampire: And when I kill her, it will be the greatest event since the crucifixion. And I should know, I was there.
Spike: You were there?! If every vampire who said he was actually at the crucifixion really was there, it would've been like Woodstock!

Doomed - S4-E11

Question: Specific answer needed, not a general "dialogue is sometimes re-recorded". Near the start of this episode, Buffy's talking to Giles about the significance of the earthquake. Buffy's dialogue sounds completely normal and recorded at the time, but all of Giles' dialogue is dubbed. I can only think he had a sore throat that day or similar, but does anyone know the specific reason he did his later?

Jon Sandys

Chosen answer: He had larangitis and because of the shooting specifications they had to have him shoot the scene with a bad throat, they then re-recorded his lines and dubbed them. At various points during the scene and indeed the episode you can see him touch his throat or rub it.
