Character mistake: When Shikata disappears after she loses her powers, Peter drops the sword and he, Mary Jane and two pedestrians behind them are shown looking in the direction that Shikata was just standing in. A third pedestrian, standing to the left of the shot, can be seen but is looking in a completely different direction to the others. (00:18:37)
Spider-Man (2003)
1 character mistake in Sword of Shikata
Starring: Neil Patrick Harris, Ian Ziering, Lisa Loeb
Audio problem: Whilst looking through the Oscorp binoculars, Mary Jane says, "Peter, stand still," but her lips don't move. (00:01:20)
Spider-Man: Max, it doesn't have to be like this. I know... what it's like.
Electro: No... you... don't.
Trivia: Originally intended to be a stand-alone series that adapted the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics. However, it was retooled slightly during pre-production to also serve as a sort-of tie-in to the popular 2002 "Spider-Man" movie by incorporating elements from it, down to even using a slightly modified version of the movie's title card font for the opening credits. However, the show was later rendered non-canonical due to the movie sequels contradicting it.
Question: Why was this series cancelled after one season?

Answer: According to MTV, even though the ratings were high compared to other shows in the same time slot, the series did not fit in with its other programming.
