Continuity mistake: When Mr. Castle complains that Martin Lane is a traitor, his secretary reminds him that he himself has declared Martin to be "the best managing editor in the country." Mr. Castle then takes a seat while holding his newspaper, but in the next shot his hands are empty as he impatiently stands up.

Visible crew/equipment: At his office, Mr. Castle looks at the newspaper and shouts, "Flat, flat, flat, it has no flavor, there's something missing," and just as the secretary snaps back, "Martin Lane," we can see a crew member's hand reach up to help shut the door at the bottom left side of the screen.
