And the Sea Shall Give Up Its Dead - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Iron Man and War Machine are battling Titanium Man, they each grab one of his legs and flip him on his back, with the two shown to be standing near his feet afterwards. The shot then changes to show Iron Man jumping towards Titanium Man, even though he was already standing right by him. When the shot changes again, Iron Man is at Titanium Man's feet, but War Machine is nowhere to be seen.

The Armor Wars: Part 2 - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: When the Mandarin is in the jewelry store at the end, he is shown as having only retrieved six of his ten power rings, with the ring in the jewelry store to be his seventh. In addition to previous episodes showing him to having already retrieved all ten rings, when he walks out of the jewelry store and places the ring he just stole on his left hand middle finger, you can see that he now has nine rings, with the thumb of his right hand being the only digit not adorned with a ring. Distant Boundaries - S2-E7

Factual error: When War Machine is drifting towards the star, just before Iron Man rescues him, he rotates his body to bring himself to a dead stop. Since he's in the vacuum of space, rotating his body would not have stopped him. He would have instead continued drifting, but with his body now drifting into the star feet first. (00:09:56)

Beauty Knows No Pain - S2-E5

Factual error: The opening shot of the episode with the Sphinx and the Pyramids is filled with numerous errors. Firstly, the Sphinx is missing its feet. Secondly, there is a stream in front of the Sphinx. There are no bodies of water in front of the Sphinx. There are temples there. Lastly, as the camera pans to the right, the Pyramids come into view, suggesting they are northeast of the Sphinx. One of the Pyramids is northwest of the Sphinx, and the other one is directly behind it. (00:00:01)

Iron Man, on the Inside - S2-E6

Other mistake: When Iron Man has successfully shrunken down, Julia confirms that he has been reduced to the size of a molecule. However, the line separating the slabs on the floor of the platform he was standing on, as well as the edge of the platform behind him are also still visible. If he was the size of a molecule, the floor around him would also account for a very small surface area, not even large enough to be the size of a drop of water. (00:08:36)

More trivia for Iron Man

Answer: Gleaned from the Internet: Some critics criticized the premise of so many one-off battles that were introduced and concluded within one or two episodes. Others felt the first-season plot lines were overly simplistic and never progressed or developed through the season. Also, the rivalry between Iron Man and the Mandarin also failed to capture viewer's attention.
