Corrected entry: When Sergeant Pepper reloads his musket and talks about settling the whole business with high stakes poker, he pours powder down the muzzle and then proceeds to ram the rod down but without having placed any bullet (buckshot) inside the barrel. The purpose of the rod is to ram the buckshot all the way down to get it seated on the powder. (00:07:05)

Correction: Wouldn't be buckshot, it would be a minie ball. The bullet would be in the paper cartridge. No, he is not out of bullets and just firing blanks.

So he tears the wrapper, pours the powder down the barrel, throws the wrapper containing the bullet away and then rams the powder. He never put anything other than powder in the barrel. But then, this being a movie set, he would only have the supplies to load blank.

Correction: It's possible he's out of bullets and trying to simply scare the Confederates.

Greg Dwyer

Or the bullet was a part of the powder pack.

Outland (1981)

Corrected entry: Throughout the movie, the setting takes place on Io which has a gravitation that is roughly one fifth of that on earth, very much like our moon. In real life all characters would be bouncing like kangaroos and all objects dropped, float like feathers. Even so, whatever the pull, it affects all objects equally and in the same direction meaning it would be impossible for Spotas dead body to float in the jail cell in a no-gravity manner while his blood drips upward (away from the surface i might add). (00:57:20)

Correction: As with most science fiction films set in space, the facility has some unexplained system of artificial gravity. This is evidenced by the fact that characters are able to jump very high when outside but not inside. The jail cells simply do not use the artificial gravity or atmosphere of the facility. This makes it more difficult for the prisoners to try to escape.

Corrected entry: Upham halts a fleeing Steamboat Willie and five other Germans. Just before Willie says "Upham" (Willie's last word before getting shot), note that the German second from the left is smiling. Hardly a situation where you might expect any of them to be amused. (01:09:40)

entrence

Correction: He's not amused. He's delirious with fear. Facing your death can do that.
