Corrected entry: In the episode 'Crush', after Buffy punches Spike across the room, he follows her home. He says to her, "like it or not, I'm in your life, you can't just shut me out". Then the barrier stops him from entering, but earlier on in the episode, Spike is in Buffy's kitchen, talking to Joyce and Dawn.

Correction: This is not a mistake. Willow did the spell which can un-invite vampires from the house, thus proving that Buffy can 'shut Spike out'.
