Labyrinth (1986)

Corrected entry: When Sarah draws the arrows on the floor using lipstick, she draws the arrows in the direction she is going. If she intends to use them to find her way out she should have been drawing them pointing in the direction she came from.

Correction: Doesn't really matter - she knows which way they point, she drew them! She'll just track them backwards when needed.

You're assuming that as she tracks them back she'll be able to see the previous arrow in order to track them back. But if she's only drawing them at the points where the path splits it's likely that the route she's taken isn't straight and therefore the arrow can't be seen from one to the next. She should have been drawing them pointing in the direction she came from. Drawing them in the direction she is going adds no value because when she returns to it, she'd be looking at multiple routes to take with the arrow just pointing at her.
