House of Cards (2013)

Chapter 35 - S3-E9

Factual error: When Doug Stamper sits down at his laptop and throws the contents of his cup at the screen, the image immediately freezes and distorts. This would not happen so quickly in a real world event. It may eventually happen but not instantaneously. (00:23:10)

House of Cards (2013)

Chapter 29 - S3-E3

Continuity mistake: While the first lady and secretary are playing beer pong, the secretary makes the first shot of the scene. After the first lady drinks the beer, you see two glasses in front of her and the one on the left has a ping pong ball in it already. The first lady takes her shot and misses, so the secretary goes again and makes it in the same glass we saw earlier that already had a ball in it. (00:37:00 - 00:38:00)

Unfriended mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Blair asks Mitch "why aren't you answering me?" he says he got a weird message from Laura Barns. Blair replies "that's not funny" and Mitch replies "I'm serious." Then Blair gets a message from Laura, and when she switches back to Mitch's conversation, the last two entries, "that's not funny" and "I'm serious" have disappeared. (00:10:50 - 00:12:30)

Unreal City - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: When Chandler and the others make it to the building where the bodies are being burned, the actor playing a corpse flips his hand over to hold onto the conveyor belt as he goes over the edge. (00:16:05)

Pilot - S1-E1

Factual error: The FBI logo on the projector screen is not the actual FBI logo. There are supposed to be 3 red stripes and 2 white stripes. There are supposed to only be 13 stars, 6 more have been added next to the scale. There are less than 46 leaves on what are supposed to be Laurel Leaf branches. [The differences can't be intentional, as "unauthorized use" of the FBI seal only applies where a situation might be construed to imply that the FBI approves its use, not the case in a fictional TV program.] (00:38:45 - 00:41:15)

Memorial Day - S2-E21

Factual error: When the presidents are coming together, there are pictures being taken with flash photography, which would not be possible in a world without electricity. (00:34:15)

Unity Day - S1-E9

Plot hole: The grounder's leader Anya states that the missiles (flares) burned a village to the ground. If this were true, the flares couldn't have flown very far, otherwise that village would have been too far away for the grounders to know about. In a previous episode, when you saw the flares from space, it was obvious the flares traveled hundreds if not thousands of miles away. (00:31:30)
