ReRyRo

Corrected entry: Twice in the movie, when speaking of the effects of the stars being destroyed by trilithium, it's mentioned that everything/all the planets would be destroyed by the resulting shockwave, which is a strange thing to say, since, regardless of any shockwave, all life would end on all planets if they lost their 'sun' (star).

Correction: I get what you're saying, but it's a little more complicated than that. A planet losing its star wouldn't mean instant destruction; it would just become a rogue planet drifting in space, with no sunlight and gradually freezing over time. Life would eventually die off without heat and energy, but there'd still be time for possible rescues or relocation. The trilithium shockwave, though, would wipe everything out immediately, leaving no chance for survival or evacuation. This is why it is more urgent due to the shockwave.
