Mr. Deeds (2002)

Corrected entry: When they realise there is a storm coming, you see two men sprinting down the mountain. Climbers can't do this. The air is so thin, and hard to breathe in, and the difficulty of that climb, they become so tired, that it is physically impossible to do. (00:01:40)

Correction: When climbing Everest, as I have done, you proceed incrementally up and then take long breaks for your body to become used to the new level of lower oxygen. Once you are accustomed to the thinner air, then you continue upward. Climbers who have reached the summit, will have already been well accustomed to the very thin air at that altitude (the altitude at which a commercial aircraft flies at!), and while probably wouldn't have the ability to run a marathon up there, could certainly sprint a short distance; especially considering that those who reach the Summit of Everest (not me) are usually exceptional athletes.
