Question: I have two questions in reference to Flynn and Gothel. 1) When Flynn is arrested, he believes Rapunzel has been abducted by the Stabbington Brothers. Later, while he is being taken to the gallows, Flynn sees the Stabbington Brothers in their cell and questions them on how they knew Rapunzel's hair is magic. One of them responds, "It wasn't us. It was the old lady," referring to Gothel. Seeing how he rides Maximus to the tower where Gothel hides Rapunzel after escaping, how did Flynn figure Rapunzel would be there without getting no information to confirm? 2) When Gothel stabs Flynn, why does she tell Rapunzel she's to blame for Flynn's impending death?

Chosen answer: 1) Flynn knows the tower is where Rapunzel and her "mother" live, going back there is the only logical place to search for Rapunzel. 2) She meant it was her fault for leaving the tower and dragging Flynn into the situation, which led him to his fate.

Question: I have three questions about the Stabbington Brothers. 1) When the Stabbington Brothers find Flynn on the lake in the boat with Rapunzel, and then Flynn comes ashore to relinquish the tiara, the thieves have their own boat, which they eventually tie Flynn to and use to cast him off across the lake. Why don't the thieves just use their boat to try and catch Flynn and Rapunzel on the lake instead of waiting for them to come ashore? 2) After Gothel knocks the thieves unconscious, how did the Palace Guards find the Stabbington Brothers? 3) Seeing how the Stabbington Brothers shed tears of joy at Rapunzel and Flynn's wedding in "Tangled Ever After," what matter persuaded them to perceive Rapunzel and Flynn more favorably and made them decide to turn over as new leaves?

John Ohman

Chosen answer: 1. They had to lure Flynn away into a trap as to retrieve Rapunzel easier. 2. Probably a routine patrol. 3. Considering they are not imprisoned, and alive and well, Rapunzel probably pardoned them on the catch that they be good.

Chosen answer: She sings while she is breaking into the palace, and that has the same effect on Rapunzel's hair as it did on the flower.

Tangled (2010)

Question: After the Stabbington Brothers escape the royal guards, they enter the same tunnel in the pub that Rapunzel and Flynn escape through. Here's what I don't get: Rapunzel and Flynn are high on a cliff when they come out of the tunnel at the dam and the Stabbington Brothers come out of another tunnel which leads them to the bottom of the dam. How come the Stabbington Brothers didn't end up in the same place as Rapunzel, Flynn, and the guards pursuing when exiting the tunnel? How did the twin thieves end up in another tunnel?

John Ohman

Chosen answer: There were two separate tunnels. The Stabbington brothers just came out of the other one. That's why they ended up in a different place.

Question: During the number "I've Got A Dream," the thugs ask Flynn to share his dream, but Flynn refuses to tell them with the excuse "I don't sing." Is that line a reference to Flynn's voice actor or is that just an excuse Flynn is making?

John Ohman

Chosen answer: It's just Flynn.
