Revealing mistake: I think this film has been translated, so this mistake is surely only in the original French version. When Jacquouille and Godefroy are in the car with the old couple, Godefroy is sick and says "Je vais vomir glairer". Glairer is the old word for vomir (vomit). It's like he forgot to speak in old French for a second.

Dr Wilson

Continuity mistake: When the policemen are interrogating Godefroy and Jacquard in the hospital, check the window of the corridor where Jacquouille and Béatrice are. There's a reflection of the doctors injecting something to the Marechal des Logis Gibon, even though it's not yet happening.

Continuity mistake: When Jacquouille and Jean-Pierre are in the Middle-Age, they want to alert the village that the Burgundians are going to attack it. They slide from the hill and a dead tree, or even an antennae is visible on the top of it. It's not visible in other shots.
