Correction: The vampire who came rushing in for Angel to fight was one of the spell-affected humans. Only appearances and behaviors changed the humans. None of the supernatural "rules" apply so that person with more or less a glamour prohibiting their own control wouldn't need an invite.

Corrected entry: When Harry decides to write to Sirius about his scar, he wonders why he didn't think of Sirius straight away. It says that Harry found out that Sirius was his godfather two months ago, but he actually found out about him before Christmas of 1993, which is about eight months previous, not two.

Issabee

Correction: Although this is technically true, eight months previously Harry thought Sirius had killed his parents. He would only have written to Sirius for advice since meeting him two months previously.

Corrected entry: On page 105, Harry finds Mrs Norris petrified on the second floor. When Dumbledore asks them all to follow him, Lockhart tells Dumbledore to use his office, and he says that it's just upstairs, which would mean Lockhart's office is on the third floor. But on pages 91-92 it says that Harry is dragging his feet along the second-floor corridor to Lockhart's office for his detention.

Issabee

Correction: Just because he was 'dragging his feet along the second floor corridor' does not mean Lockhart's office is there. he could have gone up a flight of stairs to reach Lockhart's office.

Corrected entry: On page 185, it says that all the Ravenclaw Quidditch team players ride Cleansweep Sevens. But on page 188, Wood tells Harry that Cho Chang, who is the Ravenclaw Seeker, rides a Comet Two Sixty.

Issabee

Correction: We're not even told *who* says that all the Ravenclaw players ride Cleansweep Sevens: it's just a random, unnamed Gryffindor. They're either making a generalization (perhaps all the *other* Ravenclaw players ride CS7s) or they're flat out wrong. So it's either not a mistake at all, or it's just a character mistake.

Phixius

Corrected entry: On page 99, it mentions that Harry and his classmates have Astronomy at midnight on Wednesdays. But on page 173, it says, "Wednesday night found Hermione and Harry sitting alone in the common room, long after everyone else had gone to bed. The clock on the wall chimed midnight when the portrait hole burst open." They should have been in Astronomy at this time.

Issabee

Correction: Since the date changes at midnight, it is possible that the "midnight on Wednesday" they are referring to actually occurs on what we would think of as Tuesday night. Therefore, the scene in the common room, which took place on Wednesday night proper, would have been the NEXT night.
