Continuity mistake: When Aster takes the Destiny Hero Plasma card to show Sartorius, he has two fingers pressed against the front of it. In the close-up shot, there is one only finger pressed against it. (00:06:19)

Other mistake: When Aster summons Destiny Heroes Diamond Dude and Captain Tenacious to the field, they are summoned in defence mode, but on the points display, the word ATK is shown, indicating that it is in attack mode. (00:14:42)

Other mistake: When Dr Collector activates Graceful Charity for the second time, he has it in his right hand. He then appears to lower the card off-screen, but then he goes to draw three cards from his deck with his right hand. He never placed Graceful Charity on his duel disk or sent it to his graveyard. Continuity mistake: When Jaden opens the top button on Syrus' blazer, five GX medals fall onto the ground. Three of the GX medals land face up, but two shots later, when Jaden goes to pick them up, all the medals are face down. (00:00:47)

Character mistake: After Alexis has White Knight Queen attack Sparkman and then has Snow Fairy attack Card Trooper, Jaden tells her that Sparkman's ability activates, which allows him to draw one card. This is not correct; it is actually Card Trooper that has the ability to let him draw one card, not Sparkman. (00:06:44)

Revealing mistake: At the start of the duel, in the shot of Alexis saying "If you give me the key now...", the Society of Light dorm members can be seen sitting in the seating area in the background. On the front row, there appears to be two students merged into one seat. (00:11:50)

Continuity mistake: After Chazz hands Jaden the card to use in the duel, in the shot of Jaden saying "Uh, okay", the card is level with his face. In the next shot, the card is lowered away from his face. (00:10:52)

Revealing mistake: After Jaden summons Dandelion in defence mode, he places a card face down. When he goes to insert the card into the slot on his duel disk, his hand doesn't appear to align with the duel disk. His hand appears to pass over the spherical red light on the duel disk, and not the card slot. (00:13:02)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden hands Lucien his duel disk, Lucien takes back the duel disk and holds it. Two shots later, Lucien is still holding the duel disk, but when the shot cuts, it is suddenly lowered. (00:03:23)

Other mistake: When Alexis activates her Ritual Weapon spell, her Cyber Angel Benten gains 1500 attack points. When this happens, the Life Point display is shown to display the Benten's attack points going from 1800 to 3300, instead of the Attack Point display that should've been shown. (00:13:40)

Continuity mistake: After Professor Banner goes back into the cat's body, there is an overview angle where the Ojama cards are on Jaden's desk. Two of the cards are positioned at rotated angles, but a couple of shots later, the cards are not rotated. (00:11:50)

Continuity mistake: When Professor Banner says he doesn't know whether it's worse to live in the well or to live with Chazz, the three Ojama cards are being held by two crabs. There is a small gap between the three cards, but in the next shot, the cards are closer together. (00:11:22)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden is looking at his cards the night before the duel, he has the cards on a mat. The cards are near the front of the mat, but a couple of shots later, the cards are nearer to the back of the mat. (00:09:58)

Continuity mistake: The night before the duel, Jaden is in his dorm, sitting at his desk and looking at his cards. In an overview angle, he has his right hand over some cards, but in the next shot, he is suddenly holding two cards in his hand. (00:09:57)

Plot hole: Jaden activates Miracle Fusion, allowing him to fuse the Elemental Heroes Flame Wingman and Sparkman in his graveyard to summon Shining Flare Wingman. However, Flame Wingman was never sent to Jaden's graveyard. He activated De-Fusion (allowing him to summon Avian and Burstinatrix) when it was about to be destroyed, which meant Flame Wingman was sent back to his deck and not his graveyard. (00:17:13)

Other mistake: Franz gives up 1000 life points to destroy all monsters on Jaden's field, going from 2200 to 1200. Later, Franz activates Winged Dragon of Ra's secret ability, allowing him to sacrifice all but 1 life point to add it to Ra. However, when this happens, his life point count starts at 4000, when it was 1200 earlier. Ra gains 1199 attack points, so it does gain the correct number of points, but it was still wrong for the life point count to read 4000. (00:12:45 - 00:14:30)

Continuity mistake: When Chumley shows Jaden the Skyscraper 2: Hero City card, in the shot of Chumley raising the card, he is standing at an angle 90° perpendicular to Jaden. When the shot cuts, he is facing Jaden directly. His hand also goes from raised to lowered between shots. (00:03:45)

Continuity mistake: Chazz removes V-Tron Two from his graveyard and places it on the top of his deck. When the shot cuts, his right hand is suddenly at his side, when it wasn't in the previous shot. (00:12:20)
