Corrected entry: In the scene where Forrest and Lt. Dan are on the shrimp boat and Forrest gets the call that "his momma is sick", he immediately jumps overboard and presumably swims to shore to start running home without changing clothes. But in the next shot he is shown running down the road wearing a different shirt and pants than before, and carrying his suitcase, which should still be on his boat since he lived on it.

Correction: It's not just possible, but probable that someone either gave Forrest his clothes and suitcase, or Forrest went back for them. His immediate reaction was likely not his ONLY reaction.
