Michael Collins (1996)

Factual error: On the very beginning of the movie, as well as few times throughout, we can see shots of GPO (General Post Office) taken from the street right in front of it. There is no, and never was, a street there. It's about hundred meters to the right, and you can't see (nor bombard) the GPO from it.

Factual error: When Aston Kutcher is calling every girl in his address book he is using an iPhone. In one of the shots you can see the screen lighten up as he's chatting to the caller. If he was really on the call, iPhone would switch off display in proximity to ear to avoid unwanted key strokes and save battery.

Factual error: When Aston Kutcher is getting the first text from Natalie Portman, you can see his iPhone is showing June 12 on the lock screen as the current date. The text from Emma have also a date of "06/12/10" next to it within Messages app. On iPhone, the texts received on the same day should only show time at which message arrived, and not a date.

Closer (2004)

Factual error: When Clive Owen is chatting on the internet to who he thinks is Anna, you can see the URL in web browser. The domain used is "www.nopop." It's impossible for the domain to be missing its top-level suffix (eg. .com).

Factual error: In the movie they search for two matching rings, which contain geographical location of the treasure. The rings were casted in 1589, and uses Greenwich as Prime Meridian. This wasn't established however until nearly 300 years later in 1851.
